World of Warcraft players can now give their Player Housing homes a little extra flair. Hearthsteel, WoW’s new premium currency, has officially hit the Battle.net shop, letting you purchase cute and collectible decor items with real money.

How Much Does Hearthsteel Cost?

Currently, Hearthsteel is available in a handful of bundles that scale with how much you plan to spend. The price tiers are as follows:

  • 100 Hearthsteel: £0.90 / $1
  • 500 Hearthsteel: £4.50 / $5.00
  • 1,000 Hearthsteel: £9 / $10.00
  • 2,500 Hearthsteel: £22.50 / $25.00
  • 5,000 Hearthsteel: £45 / $50.00
  • 10,000 Hearthsteel: £90 / $100

What’s in the Shop?

At launch, the Hearthsteel shop is very simple—but adorable. Currently, there are two items on offer:

  • Beloved Wolf Plushie iconBeloved Wolf Plushie: 100 Hearthsteel
  • Beloved Lion Plushie iconBeloved Lion Plushie: 100 Hearthsteel
  • Plushie Decor Pack (4x each): 500 Hearthsteel

Blizzard has said that most housing decor will still be earnable through regular gameplay, via quests, crafting, achievements, and more. Only a small portion of decor items will be sold for Hearthsteel. This is similar to how mounts and pets are currently handled: the vast majority are earned, but a select few are shop exclusives.

Whether you’re a hardcore Player Housing enthusiast, or just looking to add a touch of charm to your in-game home, Hearthsteel makes it easier than ever to personalize your space.
