If you’re wondering what the next year of World of Warcraft could look like, we now have a pretty good idea!
Based on previous patch cadence, @DarkLeafCoven on X has created a predicted patch schedule.
It’s important to note that this is not an official Blizzard roadmap. Blizzard has said they are aiming for an eight week cadence between updates—a target Midnight has so far stuck to!
According to the prediction, here are some of the release dates in the near future:
- Patch 12.1.5 – 6th October 2026
- 12.1.7 – 1st December 2026
- 12.2 – 9th February 2027
The chart even predicts the launch of The Last Titan on 27th July 2027! But before we get too excited, the further we look into the future, the less reliable these dates become. Of course, Blizzard could shift any of these dates considerably. Blizzard’s roadmap below gives us a rough but official view as to when we can expect to see new content:
