More Than Just Their Roots is a Midnight Achievement that can already be completed during the Midnight pre-patch, letting players get a head start before the expansion fully launches. This achievement focuses on interacting with several Haranir NPCs tied to the roots of Azeroth’s world trees.
Keep in mind this achievement is not required to unlock the Haranir Allied Race.
Chonon
You will find Chonon in Mount Hyjal, atop the tallest root of Nordrassil at /way 58.45 29.99.
If Chonon does not show up, you will need to complete a short questline starting with A Fresh Trauma.
Or’jan
Or’jan can be found sitting on a small rock in Darkshore at /way 31.19 66.80.
Fuunid
In Bel’Ameth, Fuunid can be found sitting on a branch (very high up) at /way 34.23 52.74.
Note – this is the Dragon Isles version of the zone, not the Emerald Dream version before the Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope raid.)
Zhakir
Zhakir can be found in Val’sharah, near the Druid order hall entrance at /way 46.69 35.44.
Kawayn
In Grizzly Hills, Kawayn sits atop the fallen tree in Grizzlemaw at /way 50.77 47.54.
