If your XP bar vanished at Level 70 in Legion Remix, you’re not alone!
The XP Bar Bug That’s Freaking Everyone Out
Right now, players are running into this visual bug that makes the XP bar disappear after they ding 70. This bug leads everyone to believe they may need to buy The War Within expansion to level to max level, which is not true. Your character can still level past 70, as reported by multiple players on Reddit.
Only an active WoW subscription is required to play Legion Remix.
Converting Chars is a Different Story
You will, however, need to buy The War Within expansion if you’re converting a Legion Remix character above Level 70. You can convert your Legion Remix character into a standard character at any time. Keep in mind this is a one-way process and you can’t revert it. When the char’s above Level 70, The War Within purchase is required, as indicated in the official blog post below:
To convert your Timerunner character, you’ll need to select it in the character selection screen and click on the icon next to it to convert. Please note that characters must be 24 hours old before they can be converted to a standard character in World of Warcraft. The War Within expansion is currently required to play above level 70. Converting a Timerunner above level 70 to a standard character requires The War Within or Midnight expansions.
