Is the Nangong Yu Worth Your Pulls in Zenless Zone Zero?

The Angels of Delusion are coming to an end in Zenless Zone Zero! After the release of Sunna and Aria in the previous banners, the last member of the faction has now arrived, with Nangong Yu officially joining the roster.

Players had been waiting a long time for these characters. The faction was teased before the game even launched, so seeing them finally arrive one by one has been a big moment for fans. And not to mention that they do come with unique cool animations and idol-themed combat style, so the Angels definitely bring their own unique touch to the game.

But with limited pulls and other new, unique Agents still expected to arrive later, many players are wondering if Nangong Yu is even worth summoning right now.

High Daze Stun Unit That Works With Every Anomaly DPS

Nangong Yu is an S-Rank Ether Stun Agent in Zenless Zone Zero, made to support Anomaly-focused teams. Instead of being a generic stunner, her entire kit is built around boosting Anomaly damage and also providing strong Daze output.

What makes her stand out is how well she fits into almost any Anomaly squad. She does not just help trigger stuns faster, but she also increases team damage by up to 25% with near full uptime, and on top of that, she also does Anomaly application herself. That combination makes her a very efficient hybrid support.

Despite having multiple mechanics, her gameplay is not as complex as it looks. Most of her power comes from properly timed charged basic attacks that enhance Daze, improve Anomaly buildup, and maintain her buffs. Once you understand that, she becomes pretty easy to use.

However, she does have a weakness that is important to point out. Her performance heavily depends on her signature W-Engine. Since she scales in a unique way, she behaves like an Anomaly Agent without being able to fully benefit from standard Anomaly weapons, and that means alternative options feel really a lot weaker.

Should You Pull for Nangong Yu?

In terms of value, Nangong Yu is a good Agent to pick up if you are already playing Anomaly DPS characters or plan to invest in that playstyle. She will not change the meta on her own, but she improves the consistency and damage output of teams built around Anomaly effects a lot.

On top of that, she does synergize well with the other two Angels of Delusion, so if you already pulled for both Sunna and Aria, it is a good idea to add Nangong as well.
