The next chapter of Zenless Zone Zero is almost here.
HoYoverse has officially announced the Version 3.0 Special Program, titled “A Sleepwalker’s Confession,” scheduled to go live on June 6 at 19:30 (UTC+8). The livestream will serve as our first full introduction to Roscaelifer, the mysterious new city that has been teased both through a first trailer and through the last main story quest.
And judging by the timing, we are already wondering if HoYoverse might have a few extra surprises planned.
Roscaelifer, the City in the Sky
The biggest part of the livestream will be Season 3, of course, and the new region, Roscaelifer.
The Season 2 Epilogue main story quest already pointed us toward the city, but HoYoverse says the upcoming livestream will reveal Roscaelifer in full for the first time, including its culture, main locations, shops, and the new gameplay systems arriving with the region.
The city is probably one of the most anticipated destinations in the game’s story, especially after multiple characters hinted that the answers to Helios’ ongoing mysteries could be found there. It is also the place where Bangboo strives, and who does not want to see a town filled with those little thingies?
New Agents and Free Rewards Confirmed
The livestream will also showcase the upcoming Version 3.0 roster.
HoYoverse has already confirmed that Velina, Norma, and Pyrois will be featured during the livestream, so we will get our first proper look at their abilities and roles within the Season 3 storyline.
This also means that we will know who comes first, and also if Pyrois is free or not. Since it is basically a new version of the Proxy, will it be free to obtain?
As usual, the Special Program will also include:
- A limited-time redemption code
- Various in-game rewards
- Additional announcements for Version 3.0 content
- New gameplay features coming with Season 3
- New Events
- Anniversary information might also be announced during this stream
The Timing Is Special as Well
One detail that immediately caught the community’s attention is the date itself. The Version 3.0 Special Program takes place just one day after Summer Game Fest 2026 begins, leading some people to wonder if HoYoverse could be preparing something much bigger than usual.
Last year, we got an early teaser for Ye Shunguang ahead of Version 2.0. Because of that, some fans believe HoYoverse could use Summer Game Fest to tease future Season 3 content before revealing more during the livestream itself. The biggest guess is currently Remielle, who will most likely be one of the most important characters of Season 3. We might get some teaser around her abilities during Summer Game Fest, or some sort of anniversary surprise, and then more details during the stream the next day.
Of course, nothing has been confirmed yet, so those are just guesses, but the timing has certainly fueled plenty of theories.
Season 3 Is Almost Here
June 6 will mark the beginning of a really important new era for Zenless Zone Zero.
Season 2 already brought a ton of changes to the game, and it is obvious that Season 3 will do so as well. On top of that, with the Anniversary date getting closer, it is not impossible that they combine both, and we get a TON of free goodies and rewards. At least, we are hoping so.
And if the community’s theories turn out to be correct, the days leading up to the livestream could end up being just as interesting as the show itself!
