Zenless Zone Zero players are already going crazy over a new character that is not officially released yet! We already saw her during the main story quest, but she is currently not playable, and it is Zhao. The latest leaks have revealed her kit, and even more importantly, her animations, and let’s be honest, that is really the fun part.
Zhao’s Animations
To say the least, Zhao’s animations are what makes her different from the rest of the cast. Zhao’s moves are absolute chaos in the best way: she trips over her enormous sword, runs like a Looney Tunes character, and her W-engine even opens up like a toy… but with ice cream inside. Players are calling it peak cartoon energy.

What makes it even better is the contrast with her character in the current story. From what we have seen so far, Zhao is supposed to be a serious Krampus agent, but in gameplay, she is basically a walking, tripping, ice-cream-throwing cartoon.
And the cherry on top is that the leaks also suggest she might even be free to unlock for players! However, keep in mind that nothing has been confirmed officially, so take this with a grain of salt.
One thing is sure, Zhao is a character we did not know we needed… and can’t stop watching!
