Diablo 2 Resurrected Gets Patch 3.1.2 and a Steam Crash Fix

If you missed it yesterday, Blizzard dropped patch 3.1.2 for Diablo II Resurrected: Reign of the Warlock. It is mostly a stability and bug fix update, so nothing changes for builds or progression, but there are still a few things worth knowing about.

The most noticeable ones are the crash and disconnect fixes, which should make sessions feel more stable overall. Warlock players get two specific improvements: pets no longer die from spamming Blood Boil in quick succession, and the Death Hex VFX volume has been reduced, which is a small but welcome fix if you found it obnoxious.

There is also a fix for Blood Oath retention when losing skill points, a UI and resolution cleanup pass, and a small vendor update affecting dagger availability. Again, not a groundbreaking patch, but a good round of fixes to make the game feel better and improve on some rough edges mid-season.
