| Immune | Immune targets take no damage and cannot be crowd controlled |
Immune is a powerful defensive state in Diablo 4 that prevents the target from taking damage and from being affected by crowd control or debuffs. While Immune, characters ignore harmful effects, incoming attacks, and all negative status conditions. This makes Immunity extremely valuable in dangerous encounters, during boss mechanics, or when escaping lethal situations.
How to Apply Immune
Immunity can be applied by both the player and enemies. Different classes have different ways of gaining Immunity. Some skills, items, and passives can cause this effect. Some Legendary Aspects can also enhance this effect, such as the
Protecting Aspect.

How to Recognize Immune
Targets that are Immune display a light gray health bar.
Additionally, some skills and Aspects create visual domes or bubbles that grant Immunity to players inside them. These zones allow players to safely avoid damage or incoming mechanics while still being able to attack.
Additional Information About Immune
- Becoming Immune removes all existing negative effects, including damage-over-time effects and crowd control.
- While Immune, players cannot be staggered, debuffed, or interrupted.
- Enemies that become Immune cannot be crowd-controlled, damaged, or staggered, and any attempts to fill their stagger bar during this time will have no effect.
- Many boss mechanics temporarily grant Immunity to enemies or players as part of scripted phases or safety mechanics.
Immunity is a straightforward but extremely impactful defensive state, allowing players to negate lethal boss attacks or break free from otherwise unrecoverable situations.
