Diablo 4’s Loot Filter Changes How You Farm in Lord of Hatred

One of Diablo 4’s most requested features is officially on the way! Blizzard has confirmed that a Loot Filter will arrive with the release of Lord of Hatred.

Importantly, this quality-of-life update will be available to all players, regardless of expansion ownership.

More Control Over Your Drops

The Loot Filter is designed to give players significantly more control over which items appear during gameplay. This will work no matter what you are doing:

  • Hunting for the perfect Greater Affix
  • Farming for a build-defining Mythic Unique
  • Or simply trying to reduce visual clutter

The new system will allow you to set item visibility to match your goals.

Diablo 4 Loot Filter Options

Blizzard has not yet detailed the full customization options, but the feature is intended to streamline the loot experience and reduce unnecessary item management.

Part of Broader Quality-of-Life Updates

The Loot Filter is just one of several quality-of-life improvements coming with Lord of Hatred. Blizzard confirmed more updates will be revealed soon as part of the ongoing expansion coverage.

Built With Community Feedback

According to Blizzard, the Loot Filter will continue evolving over time, based on player feedback. The goal is to make sure that it supports different playstyles and progression paths as the game expands.

After months, and arguably years, of community requests, Diablo 4’s item hunt is about to become much more refined.
