With Season 11, Spiritborn is getting a mix of reversions, damage bumps, cleaner Spirit Hall scaling, and a lot of item and affix cleanup. Blizzard is rolling back the PTR Vigor experiments, buffing core skills like
Rushing Claw, and reworking several Spirit Hall effects so the class feels more consistent and less random.
Below is a short breakdown, but detailed enough for those who want to know what actually changes on launch day.
What Is Changing for Spiritborn
Skills
Spiritborn gets a few direct buffs and some changes to charge and defenses.
Rushing Claw damage is doubled (80% → 160%).
Poised Payback and
Rod of Kepeleke both revert the PTR Vigor limit. - Poised Payback: PTR Vigor cap reverted; now consumes up to 500 Vigor.
- Concussive tools updated to use block rather than dodge.
Poised Rushing Claw: Charge recharge time reduced by 5 seconds.
Adaptable Concussive Stomp: Now blocks the next 3 attacks when enemies recover from your Stomp.
Between the Rushing Claw buff and new Spirit Hall scaling, Spiritborn will end up dealing noticeably more overall damage in Season 11.
Passives
A few passives were cleaned up to feel more consistent, especially for players running Jaguar setups.
Fueled now gives Life on Hit instead of Life on Kill. - Gain 1-181 Life on Hit with at least 4 stacks of Ferocity (previously 5% Max Life on Kill).
Potent was fully reworked. The PTR “damage echo” and “direct damage to nearby enemies” experiments are gone. The final Season 11 version gives: - 2/4/6% Jaguar Skill Attack Speed and Cooldown Reduction (previously bonus damage per hit).
The overall goal seems to give Spiritborn more Attack Speed and more Cooldown Reduction.
Items
Aspect of Forest Power: Barrier lowered 25% → 15% Max Life.
Aspect of Reactive Armor: Tooltip now correctly clarifies it invokes a free
Concussive Stomp.
Many items received small changes: removed affixes, swapped for Dexterity/Armor, and better scaling.
Key changes:
Rod of Kepeleke: PTR Vigor cap reverted; now consumes up to 500 Vigor.
Peacemonger’s Signet: Dodge chance → Dexterity.
Ring of the Midday Hunt: Poisoning now lasts 33% longer while you have Ferocity.
Ring of Writhing Moon: Pestilent Swarms now reduce an equipped Eagle Skill’s cooldown by 0.25s per hit (instead of generating Vigor).
Band of First Breath: Max Life % → additive Max Life; Crit Chance → Resolve generation.
Harmony of Ebewaka,
Loyalty’s Mantle,
Wound Drinker,
Jacinth Shell,
Protection of the Prime: Various DR affixes replaced with Dexterity, Armor, or All Resistance.
Spirit Hall Reworks
This is the biggest structural update for Spiritborn. Spirit Hall potency affixes now scale damage, and many Halls have had their identity cleaned up.
General
- All main Spirit Hall potency affixes are now changed to main Spirit Hall Damage.
- Tooltips updated to show the scaling clearly.
Jaguar
- Old “20% recent damage echo” removed.
- New system: every 15 Jaguar hits trigger a Beast Strike (100% weapon dmg).
- Each Beast Strike stack:
- +3% increased damage (stacking up to 5)
- Doubles Beast Strike’s damage
- Lose stacks if you stop attacking for 1s.
Eagle
- Now scales damage instead of Vulnerable duration.
Gorilla
- Now only scales Thorns.
- Barrier per hit reduced 5% → 2.5%.
- 30% Barrier cap removed.
Centipede
- Scales damage instead of Slow/DR.
- DR per stack 2% → 4%.
- Debuff duration 6s → 8s.
- Total poison 70% → 160%.
The idea is to make Guardian Spirits feel less passive and more like real companions that affect moment-to-moment gameplay.
Tempering
- Mystic Circle Potency moved from
Jaguar Finesse (Offensive) →
Plains Augments (Weapon).
Bug Fixes
On top of all the other changes, Spiritborn is also the class that got the most bug fixes:
Antivenom Passive not functioning fixed.- Jaguar Main Hall not benefiting from
Aspect of Unyielding Hits fixed.
Ravager dashing uncontrollably with non-casted core skills fixed.- Eagle Hall damage scaling too high due to Spirit Hall Potency fixed.
- Mystic Circle empowered by non-cast skills fixed.
The Protector not smashing instantly fixed.
New Unique Item
The Spiritborn is getting one new Unique as well, the Path of the Emissary Boots! This unique item can be obtained if you kill Lord Zir!
Affixes:
- +30% Movement Speed (inherent)
- +16-25% Movement Speed

All Spiritborn Changes – Official Patch Notes
Overall, these changes are not anything huge, but they do make Spiritborn feel smoother and more consistent to play. If you already enjoyed the class on the PTR, this patch should make it even nicer this season. The new unique also opens the door for a couple of cool build ideas, so it is definitely worth trying out.
