All Druid Buffs, Nerfs, and Reworks Coming in Diablo 4 Season 11

The Druid is getting a pretty chunky amount of updates for Diablo 4 Season 11, and a lot of it goes far beyond simple number adjustments. Blizzard is changing how Grizzly RageGrizzly Rage works, calming down the insane Fortify stacking from previous seasons, and pushing more synergy into Nature Magic, Poison, and Earth builds. You also get a new pair of unique boots and some important simplifications to passives and Paragon nodes that should make the class feel smoother and more consistent overall.

If you are planning to level a Druid next season or just want to see how your favorite build is affected, here is the full list of changes!

Skills Changes

  • Stone BurstStone Burst – Lucky Hit chance (for the channel tick damage) increased from 2% → 6%.
    This just makes Stoneburst feel way more consistent instead of firing procs once in a blue moon.
  • Grizzly RageGrizzly Rage gets a few changes:
    • Cooldown 50s → 35s
    • Duration 10s → 12s
    • Damage Reduction 20% → 30%
    • Rank 5 effect changed: now -10s cooldown instead of bonus Armor.
      These changes push Grizzly Rage back into “big reliable cooldown” territory instead of a clunky 50-second brick.
    • No more stacking duration mechanic.
    • Cooldown now starts after the skill ends.
    • Damage bonus standardized to +60%.
    • Skill ranks now give bonus damage instead of cooldown. A cleaner and more intuitive version overall, more in line with how other major cooldowns work.

A big part of this was clearly changed to make Druid’s major cooldown better.

Passives

  • Earthen MightEarthen Might – Bonus vs Immobilized enemies increased 15% → 25%, and Crit Damage 15% → 20%.
    Basically a direct buff to Earth builds that were already strong, making them punch even harder.

This should help Earth Druids keep competitive scaling even in higher tiers.

Item & Tempering Changes

Overall, items push Druid more toward fluid mobility and Poison/Grizzly hybrid setups.

  • Druid Motion – The Digitigrade Gait affixes were removed.
    Less clutter = easier rolling for the stats you actually want.

Paragon

  • Earthen Devastation – Crit Damage for Earth Skills massively increased → now +70% multiplicative flat. This is a huge buff and simplifies the node’s value calculation.
  • Constricting Tendrils – Better scaling vs Poisoned enemies (40%↑) and Lucky Hit DoT increased from 800% → 1000% over 4s.
    More Poison synergy means better DoT application.

These changes make Earth and Poison boards feel less conditional and more rewarding.

Spirit Boons

  • Bolster – Fortify drastically reduced from 50% → 5% of Max Life.
    A huge nerf, but expected with Fortify downsizing across all classes.

Druid relies less on passive Fortify stacking and more on active defenses now.

Additional Updates

  • Tons of Fortify values reduced (MaulMaul, Earth SpikeEarth Spike, Earthen BulwarkEarthen Bulwark, WolvesWolves, etc.).
    Global defensive scaling nerf. Druid was overperforming in tankiness at higher tiers.
  • Bad OmenBad Omen – Now also triggers Lightning Strikes when applying Immobilize or Stun, and ranks now scale the damage, not the chance. This makes it far more reliable in CC-heavy builds.
  • Energize & Earthen MightEarthen Might – Now restore 100 Spirit, not full Spirit.
    Resource loops become more predictable and less extreme.

Overall, Druids lose a good amount of passive Fortify but gain better cooldowns, stronger Earth/Poison synergy, and more reliable CC interactions.

New Unique

The Druid also gets one new unique item, the Khamsin Steppewalkers Boots! This unique can only be obtained through Grigoire, the Galvanic Saint.

  • Inherent: Attacks reduce Evade cooldown by 0.5s
  • +1-2 Endless Tempest (instead of the previous Movement Speed)
  • +Crowd Control Duration
  • 16-25% Nature Magic CDR
  • +2-3 Bad Omen

Unique Power:
Damaging 150-100 enemies with nature magic skills grants maximum movement speed and unhinderedness for 4-8 seconds. Enemies you run through are immobilized for 1 second.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed incorrect Fortify values for Earthen Bulwark variants.
  • Fixed Ancestral Fortitude not boosting non-physical resistance.
  • Fixed Steppewalkers granting infinite movement speed in certain defensive skill loops.
  • Fixed Grizzly Rage tooltip not showing correct scaling.
  • Fixed various passive and Golem/Lightning interaction issues.

Druid ended up with a surprisingly healthy set of changes this season! Less passive Fortify, but way better cooldowns, more Poison/Nature synergy, and a Grizzly Rage rework that finally feels clean. Earth builds get a massive Crit buff, Poison builds get better scaling, and mobility options look way more fun with the new boots.

Overall, it is a solid patch for the class, and honestly, Druid players needed exactly that.

Stoneburst

  • Lucky Hit chance for the channeled damage increased from 2% to 6%.

  • Cooldown reduced from 50 to 35 seconds.

Earthen Might

  • Damage against immobilized enemies increased from 15%[x] to 25%[x].
  • Critical Strike Damage increased from 15%[x] to 20%[x].

Items

Aspect of the Rampaging Werebeast

  • Previous: The duration of Grizzly Rage is increased by 3-10 seconds. In addition, Critical Strikes while Grizzly Rage is active increase your Critical Strike Damage by 10%[x] for the duration, up to maximum of 200%[x].
  • Now: Critical Strikes while in Grizzly Rage increases your damage by 3%[x] for 60 seconds, up to 120%[x].

Aspect of the Rabid Beast Bear

  • Changed to Aspect of the Rabid Beast.
  • Previous: While Grizzly Rage is active, your direct damage is converted into Poison damage, you deal x[40 – 80]% more Poison damage, and you passively spread Rabies.
  • Now: Deal 40-80%[x] more Poison Damage. While Shapeshifted, your direct damage is converted into Poison damage.

Khamsin Steppewalkers (New Boots)

  • Power
    • Previous (PTR): Damaging [200 – 100] Enemies with Storm Skills grants a charge. Casting any Defensive Skill will grant Max Movement Speed and Unhindered for 1 second for each charge used. While Charged, enemies you run into are Immobilized for 1 second.
    • Now: Damaging 150-100 Enemies with Nature Magic Skills grants Max Movement Speed and Unhindered for 4-8 seconds. Enemies you run through are Immobilized for 1 second.
  • Affixes
    • Movement Speed Affix replaced with 1-2 ranks of Endless Tempest.

Paragon

Earthen Devastation

  • Previous: Your Earth Skills deal 10%[x] increased Critical Strike Damage, increased by 20%[x] of your Damage vs Crowd Controlled bonus, up to 60%[x].
  • Now: Your Earth Skills deal 70%[x] increased Critical Strike Damage.

Constricting Tendrils

  • Previous: Nature Magic Skills deal 35%[x] increased damage to Poisoned enemies. Lucky Hit: Nature Magic Skills have up to a 40% chance to Poison the enemy for 800% damage over 4 seconds.
  • Now: Deal 40%[x] increased damage to Poisoned enemies. Lucky Hit: Nature Magic Skills have up to a 40% chance to Poison the enemy for 1000% damage over 4 seconds.

  • Affixes Removed:
    • Digitigrade Gait

Spirit Boons

Bolster

  • Fortify reduced from 50% to 5% of Maximum Life.

Skills

Grizzly Rage

  • Stacking duration is no longer a part of the ability, and Cooldown doesn’t start until the ability ends.
  • Stacking Damage per second removed and Damage Bonus increased to 60%.
  • Skill Ranks of Grizzly Rage now grant bonus damage instead of reducing Cooldown.

Natural Boulder

  • Critical Strike Chance while Fortified increased from 20% to 25%.

Enhanced Maul

  • Fortify reduced from 8% to 2% of Maximum Life.

Enhanced Debilitating Roar

  • Fortify reduced from 20% to 15% of Maximum Life.

Preserving Earthen Bulwark

  • Fortify reduced from 18% to 10% of Maximum Life.

Fierce Earth Spike

  • Fortify reduced from 12% to 3% of Maximum Life.

Supreme Grizzly Rage

  • Fortify per second reduced from 8% to 2% of Maximum Life.

Natural Trample

  • Fortify reduced from 12% to 3% of Maximum Life.

Ferocious Wolf Pack

  • Fortify reduced from 8% to 3% of Maximum Life.

Passives

Bad Omen

  • Now also calls Lightning Strikes when applying Immobilize and Stun.
  • Ranks in this passive now increase the damage of the Lightning Bolts instead of the chance to strike enemies.

Energize

  • Now restores 100 Spirit instead of fully restoring Spirit when the effect is activated. Now restores 100 spirit instead of fully restoring Spirit.

Earthen Might

  • Now restores 100 Spirit instead of fully restoring Spirit when the effect is activated. Now restores 100 spirit instead of fully restoring Spirit.

Stone Guard

  • Previous: While you have Fortify for over 50% of your Maximum Life, your Earth Skills deal 4% increased damage.
  • Now: While Fortified, your Earth Skills deal 4% increased damage.

Unrestrained

  • Previous: Reduce the duration of Control Impairing Effects by 5%. Double this effect while you have Fortify for over 50% of your Maximum Life.
  • Now: Reduce the duration of Control Impairing Effects by 5%. Double this effect while Fortified.

Defensive Posture

  • Previous: Increases the amount of Fortify you gain from all sources by 5% and you gain 3% Damage Reduction while Fortified.
  • Now: Increases the amount of Fortify you gain from all sources by 5%.

Safeguard

  • Fortify reduced from 3% to .1% of Maximum Life.

Natural Fortitude

  • Fortify reduced from 2% to .2% of Maximum Life.

Legendary Aspects

Skinwalker’s Aspect

  • Previous: When you use a Shapeshifting Skill that changes your form, Heal for 5-20% of your Maximum Life. If you are at full Life, gain the same amount as Fortify.
  • Now: When you use a Shapeshifting Skill that changes your form, Fortify for 2-3% of your Maximum Life.

Aspect of Calm Breeze

  • Now restores 100 Spirit in your resource meter instead of fully restoring Spirit when the effect is activated. Now restores 100 spirit instead of fully restoring Spirit.

Rejuvenating Aspect

  • Now has 21 ranks, up from 16.

Spirt Bond Aspect

  • Now has 21 ranks, up from 16.

Unique Items

Vasily’s Prayer

  • Fortify reduced from 2-5% to .2-.5% of Maximum Life.

Mjölnic Ring

  • Now restores 100 Spirit in your resource meter instead of fully restoring Spirit when the effect is activated. Now restores 500 spirit instead of fully restoring Spirit.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where Preserving Earthen Bulwark was granting the incorrect amount of Fortify.
  • Fixed an issue where Ancestral Fortitude didn’t increase non-physical resistance.
  • Fixed an issue where the Movement Speed buff from Khamsin Steppewalkers could be permanently granted when casting two defensive skills in a row.
  • Fixed an issue where the description for the buff from Khamsin Steppewalkers displayed the wrong values.
  • Fixed an issue where the description for Grizzly Rage didn’t properly display the damage increase for adding additional skill points.
