<p>Lord of Hatred has introduced a new type of mount to Diablo 4, the Basilisk. There are six of them obtainable as in-game rewards. Let&#8217;s take a look at them and how to earn them.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Huntsman&#8217;s Basilisk</h2>



<p>The Huntsman&#8217;s Basilisk is obtained during a quest in <strong>Chapter 4</strong> of the <strong>Lord of Hatred campaign</strong>.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Featherless Biped</h2>



<p>The Featherless Biped is a reward for completing a chain of sidequests that starts with the quest <strong>&#8220;A Glimpse At Good Fortune&#8221;</strong>. This questline starts at <strong>Fool&#8217;s Quarry</strong> in the <strong>Skartara</strong> zone of Skovos.</p>

<p>The Turquoise Tracker is a reward from the <strong>&#8220;Mainlander For The Isles&#8221;</strong> achievement, which requires <strong>completing all sidequests</strong> <strong>in Skovos.</strong></p>

<p>The Athuluan War Mount is a reward from the <strong>&#8220;All In&#8221;</strong> achievement, which requires reaching <strong>max level with all Activity Trees in War Plans</strong>.</p>

<p>The Amazonian Charge is a reward from the <strong>&#8220;No Island Unturned&#8221;</strong> achievement, which requires <strong>exploring all of Skovos</strong>.</p>



<p class="has-vivid-red-color has-text-color"><strong>Currently, this achievement is bugged and stuck at 65/67 areas explored; however, it has been fixed in the 3.1 Patch PTR.</strong></p>

All New Basilisk Mounts Added in Diablo 4 and How to Obtain Them


<p>If you have ever watched a party vote timer tick down while a couple of anonymous checkmarks stare back at you, this one is for you. A new suggestion making the rounds on the Diablo 4 subreddit asks Blizzard to show player colors in the vote popup so the party can immediately see who has readied up and, more importantly, who has not.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Problem with the Current Vote Popup</h2>



<p>As it stands, every vote pop-up in Diablo 4 only shows how <em>many</em> players have accepted. This menu gives the party no indication of <em>which </em>players those votes belong to. This inevitably results in confusion. As the timer ticks down, someone asks in chat, &#8220;Who isn&#8217;t ready?&#8221; while the vote expires anyway.</p>



<p>It is a minor friction point, but it is constantly present in Diablo 4. Playing in a group has become the most efficient way to experience the game. Because the same anonymous vote interface gates nearly every shared action a party takes, you bump into it dozens of times per session, no matter what you are farming. Every failed vote is ten seconds of dead air multiplied across four players.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Proposed Fix: Player Colors on the Vote Popup</h2>



<p>The suggestion presented in the Reddit post is elegantly simple. Diablo 4 already assigns each party member a color, which is used for party frames, map markers, and other UI elements. The community&#8217;s ask is to reuse those existing player colors on the vote popup itself, attaching each accept/pending indicator to the colored marker of the player it belongs to.</p>



<p>With that one change, any vote popup in the game would tell you at a glance that blue and green are ready to go while yellow is still rummaging through their stash. This avoids unnecessary chat messages, guessing if the party should pause, or awkwardly restarting the vote. This is a request to surface information the game already has, not a larger UI refresh.</p>



<p>Players have been <a href="https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/qol-vote-status/207065">raising the same </a><span style="margin: 0px;padding: 0px"><a href="https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/qol-vote-status/207065" target="_blank" rel="noopener">vote-popup complaint on the official forms</a> since</span> 2024, asking Blizzard to indicate which party member has not readied up. The Reddit thread is simply the latest of a long-running quality-of-life ask.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Why This QoL Change Makes Sense</h2>



<p>Blizzard has shown a willingness to ship exactly this kind of UI improvement in recent seasons, from large overhauls such as the addition of a loot filter to smaller UI improvements across crafting menus. The vote popup fix has a low development cost, zero balance implications, and an immediate benefit to everyone who plays in a group, every session.</p>



<p>There is also a social benefit. Right now, a failed vote adds confusion. Someone is holding things up, and nobody knows who. Showing player colors removes the ambiguity and turns a minor annoyance into a non-event. Usually, the &#8220;culprit&#8221; is just someone mid-inventory or grabbing a drink.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Will Blizzard Act on It?</h2>



<p>There is no official response yet, but community-driven QoL suggestions have a strong track record of eventually making it into Diablo 4, especially when they are cheap to implement and repeatedly requested. With the vote pop-up complaint resurfacing season after season, this feels like a prime candidate for a quick fix to a longstanding pain point. </p>



<p>Until then, keep trying &#8220;who&#8217;s not ready?&#8221; into party chat, and maybe drop an upvote on the thread while you are at it.</p>

<p>With <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/tier-lists/">Season 13</a> soon coming to a close, the meta has settled, so let&#8217;s take a look at the current Pit Tier Rankings and compare how each class is doing, as well as the overall balance of the game.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Runs</h2>



<p>The following post uses data from <a href="https://helltides.com/pit">Helltides</a>, which records top Pit Tier clears for each class. <strong>Seven</strong> out of <strong>eight</strong> classes have timed a <strong>Pit Tier 150</strong> so far.</p>

<p>Sorcerers have been dominating the leaderboards with extremely fast clears thanks to the Ball Lightning build. It took 곽끝순 just 1 minute and 50 seconds to clear a Pit Tier 150.</p>

<p>Warlocks, the newest addition to the game, have also joined the other classes in clearing a Pit Tier 150, with [INF]蓝萌君@玉米 timing one in 12 minutes and 9 seconds, using the Apocalypse build.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Necromancer Tier 150 Pit Clear</h2>



<p>While there is only one recorded run of a Pit Tier 150 for Necromancers, [INF]秋葉@黑巫师【血潮】has timed it in 12 minutes and 55 seconds.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Druid Tier 150 Pit Clear</h2>



<p>With just 1 second difference, Druids are following right behind with [GG] NeverMind timing a Pit Tier 150 in 12 minutes and 56 seconds with the Companion build.</p>

<p>While the top Rogue runs have been clearing Pit Tier 150 in barely over a minute, those runs have been abusing a bug with The Umbracrux dagger.</p>



<p>However, [INF]Maenam has timed a Pit Tier 150 in 14 minutes and 14 seconds without the bug.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Paladin Tier 146 Pit Clear</h2>



<p>In last place, and the only class to not time a Pit Tier 150 this season is the Paladin. The fastest run recorded is a Pit Tier 146 by Synthec&amp;Dream in 13 minutes and 29 seconds.</p>

Seven Diablo 4 Classes Cleared Pit 150, but Paladin Is Still Behind


<p>Blizzard has uploaded a new video on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@Diablo">Diablo&#8217;s YouTube channel</a> where Diablo 4&#8217;s Art Directors show us Skovos through their eyes in an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sense of a Color Progression</h2>



<p>Very early on, one of the Art Directors has mapped out a color guide for how you want the environment to look. Visually as a player, as you&#8217;re moving through, you don&#8217;t want the same color palette. Fortunately, the expansion has a story that allowed them to ramp those colors up, as you move through the game.</p>



<p>The color progression is tied to what&#8217;s happening in the campaign.</p>



<p>Skovos is the origin of all humanity, so you have remnants of that culture dotting the isles. You see signs of the original culture and the new Askari living on top.</p>



<p>The zone feels Mediterranean-esque with lots of touch points that make it feel familiar and the colors are reminiscent of what you expect of a culture that&#8217;s surrounded by water.</p>



<p>The intent there is to take you down that typical Diablo path where things get dark and gloomy and full of doom, but they needed to create visual contract so that the journey feels meaningful.</p>

Diablo 4 Art Directors Show How Skovos Turns From Bright to Grim


<p>If you logged into <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Diablo 4</a> this week and noticed the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/earn-new-rewards-for-participating-in-the-diablo-4-tower-leaderboards-in-season-14/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tower and leaderboards</a> had suddenly disappeared, you are not imagining things.</p>



<p>A few days ago, Blizzard unexpectedly disabled both the Tower and its rankings because they needed to investigate an issue that could potentially affect leaderboard results. The announcement was short and offered very little information beyond a promise that the team was looking into the problem.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Blizzard Fixed the Problem, but Did Not Explain It</h2>



<p>When the Tower was taken offline, Blizzard said they had identified a few issues that could impact leaderboard rankings and wanted to make sure the mode remained fair for everyone.</p>



<p>What those issues actually were, however, remains a mystery.</p>



<p>They never explained if the problem involved exploits, incorrect score calculations, ranking errors, or something else entirely. Instead, the next update arrived with a much shorter message:</p>

Diablo 4’s Tower Is Back After a Leaderboard Issue


<p>The third anniversary celebrations for Diablo 4 are underway. The March of the Goblins is live, the Mother’s Blessing buffs have been activated, and free cosmetics have begun appearing in the shop.</p>



<p>The <a href="https://news.blizzard.com/en-gb/article/24281840/celebrate-the-div-anniversary" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">event</a> runs from June 2 through June 9. During this time, you can level faster, earn more gold, hunt Treasure Goblins, progress the event reputation board attached to the goblin statue in Kyovashad, and stock up on all the loot and materials you can handle.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>How to Make the Most of March of the Goblins</strong></h2>



<p>If your goal is to finish the event reputation board as quickly as possible, there are a few options. If you’re willing to enter the Infernal Hordes, there is great potential there, especially if you’ve selected the ‘Total Chaos’ node in your Infernal Hordes War Plan perk tree. This perk ensures extra Chaos Waves and, if you get lucky, one of these may be a wave of nothing but Aether Goblins. This will be great for leveling quickly through the reputation board, but the goblins here won’t be dropping the same exciting loot you’ll find elsewhere.</p>



<p>Running a Nightmare Dungeon with the Treasure Breach affix will guarantee a ridiculous amount of goblin kills, but these are hard to come by.</p>



<p>The Hoarfrost Demise dungeon in Fractured Peaks is also worth mentioning. It’s been a popular goblin farming dungeon in previous events, and the usual loop is to enter, quickly check for Greed Shrines, leave, reset the dungeon, and repeat.</p>

<p>In the open world, Helltides and the Fields of Hatred PvP zone are good options, but, if you own Vessel of Hatred, Nahantu appears to be the strongest choice.</p>



<p>The basic idea is simple: move fast, cover a lot of ground, and hunt goblins where you can quickly spot and chase them down. Make sure you always have Subo selected as your Mercenary so you can spot goblins on the map.</p>



<p>It may also be helpful to turn off Cross-Network Play if you are hunting goblins in the open world. This will reduce the number of other players competing for the same goblins.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Don’t Waste the XP and Gold Boost</strong></h2>



<p>Mother’s Blessing is also active during the event. This will increase experience earned by 35% and gold earned by 50% (multiplicative) while the event is live.</p>



<p>This makes it a great time to level an alt or work on pushing Paragon levels. The gold boost makes the goblin event even more attractive.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Claim Free Cosmetics</strong></h2>



<p>Alongside the farming bonuses, Blizzard is adding free anniversary cosmetics to the in-game shop. New gifts arrive each day from June 2 through June 6, and players have until June 9 to claim them.</p>



<p>Even if you don’t have time for a long farming session every day, it’s worth logging in to claim the cosmetics before they’re gone.</p>

How to Make the Most of Diablo 4’s Anniversary Event


<p>Blizzard has released a known issues list for the Diablo 4 3.1.0 PTR, giving players a look at some of the bugs and issues the team is already aware of. The list is heavily focused on item behavior, crafting, Horadric Cube interactions, Talismans, and class-specific bugs.</p>



<p>The good news is that these issues are already on Blizzard’s radar and are intended to be addressed before Season 14 goes live. The bad news is that players on the PTR may be in for a rough time, as the list of issues is long. Some of the main problems include items not updating correctly after modification, Horadric Cube actions failing or restricting further upgrades, crafted Mythics behaving unexpectedly, and several class or Talisman interactions not working as intended.</p>

<li>Using Mrak boosts will activate a blank War Plans board for players who did not complete the campaign yet. Players must complete the campaign prior to using War Plans.</li>
<li>Character cannot teleport to the exit portal of Nemesis Lair mutator through Map Icon.</li>
</ul>

<li>Some items may retain outdated or invalid affix states after being modified.</li>
<li>Affix values may not properly refresh after crafting or item updates.</li>
<li>In some cases, items may not reflect their correct power or stat values after changes are applied.</li>
<li>Certain affixes may fail to apply despite meeting requirements.</li>
<li>Item behavior may vary depending on when and how affixes were added or removed.</li>

<li>Crafted Mythic items may not behave as expected after creation.</li>
<li>Crafted items may not properly inherit or display intended affixes.</li>
<li>Crafted Mythic items often roll below the max item level.</li>
<li>Some crafting outcomes may not match expected results based on input materials.</li>
<li>Recrafting or modifying crafted items may lead to inconsistent stat or affix behavior.</li>
<li>Certain crafting interactions may leave items in an invalid or partially updated state.</li>
</ul>
<h2><a class="anchor" href="https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/ptr-310-known-issues-622026/257937#p-2176276-horadric-cube-4" name="p-2176276-horadric-cube-4" aria-label="Heading link"></a><strong>Horadric Cube</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Removing affixes using the Horadric Cube may prevent further modifications on some items.</li>
<li>Adding affixes may fail even when all requirements appear to be met.</li>
<li>Cube interactions may behave inconsistently depending on the item’s current affix state.</li>
<li>Players may encounter situations where Cube actions appear successful but do not apply changes.</li>
<li>Certain Cube operations may incorrectly restrict future item upgrades or rerolls.</li>
<li>The ‘Upgrade to Mythic’ tooltip fails to state that the pre-requisite item must be Ancestral</li>
<li>The ‘Upgrade to Mythic’ options allows for Mythic Uniques to be used a pre-requisite material (when this should only be for regular uniques)</li>
<li>It is possible to add a non-functional Greater Affix to an item when using Transfiguration process</li>
</ul>

<li>UI feedback may not update correctly after item changes are applied.</li>
<li>Placeholder or temporary art may appear in some parts of the campaign UI.</li>
<li>Certain UI elements may display outdated or incorrect information following system interactions.</li>

<li>Combining multiple systems (e.g., crafting + Cube + affixes) may lead to unexpected outcomes.</li>
<li>Items may behave differently based on prior modification history.</li>
</ul>
<h2><a class="anchor" href="https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/ptr-310-known-issues-622026/257937#p-2176276-talisman-7" name="p-2176276-talisman-7" aria-label="Heading link"></a><strong>Talisman</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Certain Talismans may deal additional damage that is not reflected in the combat log.</li>
<li>Some Talisman effects may apply damage or bonuses inconsistently, making it difficult to verify their impact.</li>
<li>Specific Talisman and skill combinations may result in unexpectedly high damage output that does not display correctly in UI feedback.</li>
<li>In some cases, Talisman-related bonuses may not properly register or display when interacting with other systems.</li>
<li>Paladin’s Righteous Will set does not reflect enemy ‘knockback’ effects</li>
<li>Sorcerer’s Tal Rasha Threefold Way set casts a stationary Ball Lightning when a Frost or Pyromancy skill triggers the 5-set bonus</li>
<li>Sorcerer’s Habalcava’s Cauldron set powers persist visually and functionally after the player procs the overheat effect, then unequips the set.</li>
<li>Warlock’s Harash’s Shadow set does not provide damage increases when consuming the last stack of ‘Shadowform’</li>
<li>Warlock’s Abaddon set does not create small fractures when casting Hell Fracture with Eruption upgrade</li>
<li>Warlock’s Abaddon set causes certain skill upgrades to cast as different skill upgrades</li>
<li>The Charm version of ‘Ring of Starless Skies’ is not functional.</li>
</ul>
<h2><a class="anchor" href="https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/t/ptr-310-known-issues-622026/257937#p-2176276-class-specific-8" name="p-2176276-class-specific-8" aria-label="Heading link"></a><strong>Class-Specific</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Some Sorcerer aspects may cause abilities to enter an infinite cooldown state when traveling between subzones on a mount.</li>
<li>Warlock characters may become stuck underground or temporarily unable to move or cast abilities after using certain skills.</li>
<li>In multiplayer scenarios, Barbarian Rallying Cry may incorrectly stun the player casting the ability under certain conditions.</li>
<li>Several Rogue item and skill interactions may fail to apply intended damage or bonuses, resulting in inconsistent performance.</li>
<li>The Paladin Heavenly Strength affix may not function correctly with certain item combinations, preventing expected build functionality.</li>
<li>Some Druid Unique items may fail to correctly apply poison damage or Berserking duration bonuses as described.</li>
<li>Necromancer items and upgrades may grant incorrect Overpower stacks or fail to apply buffs to summons.</li>
<li>Sorcerer abilities and aspects may provide more damage or stacks than listed in tooltips, leading to inconsistencies between expected and actual power.</li>
<li>Certain Rogue skills may apply multiple effects simultaneously when only one is intended, resulting in unintended behavior.</li>
<li>Some Warlock abilities may exhibit incorrect behavior when recast or display persistent visual effects.</li>
<li>Necromancer abilities may leave lingering effects after being recast, remaining active longer than intended.</li>
<li>Certain class abilities may fail to correctly apply bonus damage effects, reducing their overall effectiveness.</li>
</ul>

Diablo 4 PTR Known Issues List is Good News and Bad News for Players


<p>Blizzard has announced that the launch of the 3.1 PTR will be delayed. While the issue was not specified, it is currently being investigated, and Blizzard will be providing updates when available.</p>



<p>Players looking to participate in the PTR can still pre-download the patch on Battle.net, in preparation for the launch.</p>

Diablo 4 3.1 PTR Has Been Delayed


<p>Blizzard has opened the early download for the Diablo 4 Patch 3.1 PTR. Players can grab the pre-download right now on Battle.net. Unfortunately, Steam and console versions of the game are not eligible for PTR access. While the download is currently available, the content itself will not be accessible until <strong>June 2 at 10:00 a.m. PDT</strong>. </p>



<p>The 3.1 PTR is shaping up to be a large one, teasing the return of Realmwalkers alongside a reworked Mythic Uniques system, among other changes. Diablo 4 PTR 3.1 Is Ready to Download Ahead of Launch


<p>Players are finally getting some details about what&#8217;s coming in Diablo 4 Season 14. Along with <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4-season-14-finally-adds-solo-self-found-mode/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Solo Self-Found</a>, Mythic Uniques, &amp; the return of the Realmwalker, there&#8217;s also a new Seasonal Lair Boss &amp; monster family coming soon.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Seasonal Lair Boss In Season 14</h2>



<p>A new Seasonal Lair Boss will be available in Season 14! Players can find <strong>the Corrupted Reaper Lair Boss in Pandemonium Threshold&#8217;s entrance in Zarbinzet.</strong> During the new season, the ability to fight the boss will become available through the Season Campaign. </p>



<p><strong>This boss requires a Greater Lair Boss key to open the rewards cache</strong>, which you <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4-realmwalker-returns-in-season-14/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">can farm through Deathtoll Chambers.</a> It will also give the best direct drop chances for both <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/diablo-4-season-14-lets-every-unique-become-mythic/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mythic Uniques and Mythic Unique Upgrade currency</a> than any other activity.</p>



<p>However, during <strong>the PTR (which will be available starting next week on June 2nd)</strong>, you will be able to face this boss once you have reached Torment I or higher.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">New Monster Family: The Risen</h2>

<p>This season is also introducing a new monster family: The Risen. Gravehounds, members of the new Risen monster family, now appear out of Ruptures and inside the Deathtoll Chamber. <strong>When killed, Gravehounds drop orbs that empower the Exarch</strong>, a special Risen that absorbs any Orbs that float toward it. <strong>Intercept them before they arrive to claim the power yourself.</strong></p>



<p>Currently, it isn&#8217;t clear if this new monster family will stick around for later seasons since they are heavily tied to the Pandemonium Ruptures being torn open during Season 14. But having more monsters to slay is always a welcome addition.</p>
