UPDATE:
Blizzard has clarified that this was not intended, and the cosmetic grants are no longer occurring. Players who received the cosmetics before the issue was corrected will be able to keep them.
PSA | Patch 3.2.2 Cosmetic Grant Update
Hey everyone,
We wanted to provide a quick update regarding some cosmetics that were unintentionally granted to players around the launch of Patch 3.2.2.
Shortly after the patch went live, we identified an issue that caused certain cosmetics to be awarded to some players when they logged in. We’ve since resolved the issue and additional grants are no longer occurring. For those who received the cosmetics before the issue was corrected, you’ll be able to keep them.
We know many of you noticed and had questions about what happened, so we wanted to be transparent about the situation and clarify our plans.
Thanks, everyone!
