Which Diablo 4 Tributes Are Worth Running?

If you have started farming Tribute runs in Diablo 4, you have probably wondered if there is a “best” way to use them or if it even matters.

And it turns out, players have some strong opinions when it comes to Tributes. Kurast Undercity is not really the most played content in Diablo 4, but if you do choose to run some keys, you should definitely make sure those are worth your time.

Focus On the Right Rewards

After all the seasons since Vessel of Hatred released, it is safe to say most players agree that not all Tributes are equal.

The general advice is to simply focus on Ascendance and Radiance Tributes whenever possible.

  • Radiance (Legendary Tributes) are really good for their Ancestral Legendary drops, which makes them a great choice for early upgrades.
  • Ascendance (Unique Tributes) are even more important afterwards, since they reward multiple Uniques with a higher chance at Mythic Uniques. Those typically do not drop often, and a good choice is to run them in groups of 4 to max out rewards for everyone.

These are the runs most players consider worth your time if you absolutely want to run some Tributes.

Everything Else Is Not Useless, But It Depends on Your Goal

However, there are still reasons to farm some of the other Tributes, and not just entirely ignore them.

For example, the Tribute of Harmony guarantees rune drops, which makes it one of the more reliable ways to target Legendary Runes if you are missing some.

So even if it is not the best option, if you just want to get better gear, it can still be helpful depending on what you are farming.

At the end of the day, optimizing your Tribute runs is not that complicated, and it mostly comes down to knowing what you need and picking the ones that match it. But if you are just looking for the most efficient path to better gear, players seem to agree that Ascendance and Radiance are hard to beat.
