Diablo 4 Fixes Pre-Order Issues and Reward Bugs & More!

Jaym0 Avatar by Jaym0

After the season started, a ton of issues came up. Now Blizzard released a new Diablo 4 hotfix overnight on December 12, 2025! This one is addressing a few bugs linked to item progression, endgame rewards, and the access to the pre-order content of the expansion.

The update is live on all platforms right now, so make sure you update your game. It focuses on a few issues reported by players after the launch of Season 11.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where some items could not be Sanctified. This was blocking progression for certain people, since it is also required for a quest. You should now be able to progress without any further issue.
  • Fixed an exploit allowing Echo of Lilith rewards to be earned multiple times. If you were trying to cheat around to get more rewards, it is now not possible anymore!
  • Fixed an issue where players who were gifted Diablo IV products did not receive access properly. This was a problem for people who got the Lord of Hatred expansion gifted, but could not access the gift. You should be able to receive it now and access all the pre-order content, including the new Paladin!
  • Fixed an issue preventing some players from accessing Vessel of Hatred expansion content. Some players did not have access to Spiritborn anymore, and this should now have been resolved.
  • Various performance and stability improvements.
