Diablo 4 Official Livestream Update – No Season 10 PTR Stream?

Jaym0 Avatar by Jaym0

The Diablo 4 team has just announced changes to their livestream schedule and format ahead of Season 10!

An update on Campfire Chats/Developer Update Streams

Hi all –

We wanted to provide a quick update on our livestreams going forward.

The tldr; is that we will not be having a livestream for Season 10 PTR as we are focusing on revamping our livestreams going forward starting with the Season 10 launch. There will still be a blog and notes to accompany Season 10 PTR so players can expect news on that soon.

We have been evaluating feedback from players and internally have been wanting to revamp our livestream formats for quite a while especially as we head into next year with the new expansion.

We still want to have that developer interaction moment where players can hear directly from someone on the team during the PTR, so we plan on shifting our Discord Sanctuary Sit Down to occur with our PTR Patch Notes/Blog release. There will be more news on that tomorrow (August 12th) for Season 10.

We have hit the 30th stream milestone recently for Diablo IV, and we couldn’t be more excited to kick-off the revamped livestreams with the launch of Season 10. Please keep the feedback flowing as we head into our new format as we want to make the best possible stream for the community.

Thanks,
Diablo Community Team

There will not be a livestream for the Season 10 PTR (Public Test Realm). Instead, you can expect a detailed blog and patch notes that will go with the PTR release! This is a major change from previous seasons.

The developers are also planning to completely change their livestreams starting with the Season 10 launch. Their goal is to create a better experience based on player feedback and prepare for next year’s expansion. More details about everything will be shared on August 12, so stay tuned for more updates!
