As part of Season 11, Blizzard is now preparing to roll out the Tower and Leaderboards as a Beta experience starting on January 12 at 11 a.m. PST in the Seasonal Realm.
Although the Tower is not a completely new concept (as we had Gauntlets in Diablo 4 before), this Beta is a big step for Blizzard, as it affects the long-term endgame activity of the game. Throughout the beta, the goal is to gather player feedback early, refine pacing and difficulty, and slowly build it into something that can stand next to Diablo 4’s other endgame systems.
What To Expect From The Tower Beta
The Tower challenges players to push through randomized floors filled with different monster families, racing against the clock to maximize score and efficiency. Smart routing, fast clears, and strong build execution will all be equally important as you work toward spawning and defeating the final Tower boss.
Access unlocks after completing Season Rank 2, with entry available through the Obelisk in Cerrigar. Leaderboards will run in two-week rounds throughout the season, then close shortly before the season ends.
Blizzard has been clear that this is still a Beta. Bugs, balance changes, and missing features are expected, and the goal is to further expand rewards and systems in future seasons. Player feedback during the current Season 11 will directly influence how the Tower evolves moving forward.
Below, you can find Blizzard’s full blue post with all the details straight from the Diablo 4 team.
Dominate The Tower and Leaderboards Beta

The Tower and Leaderboards will have more features integrated over future seasons. For example, rewards will be integrated further into development.
Because this is a Beta, you may encounter bugs along the way. We’ll be actively tuning and improving the feature throughout the Beta based on what you experience and share with us. Drop any feedback in the dedicated Tower and Leaderboards subforum here. We’ll use it to shape this game mode into something everyone is excited to return to and challenge, season after season.
In the Tower, you’ll battle your way through a series of floors featuring randomized layouts and monster families. Push deeper, race against the clock and unleash your build as you fight toward the final Tower boss to complete your run.
We will be actively listening and iterating on the Tower in the Diablo IV Forums to shape it with your support. Thank you for playing the Tower Beta and providing your feedback.
Slay Through the Tower
On January 12 at 11 a.m. PST, the Tower opens on the Seasonal Realm for the worthy to slay through the pulse pounding halls of each level. Use Pylons to your advantage to slay elites and rack up your score as fast as possible. Keep slaying enemies until you spawn the final boss, defeat them to complete your run. Every decision matters when you’re racing the clock.
To access the Tower, you’ll need to have completed Rank 2 of Season Rank. Once completed, you’ll enter through the Obelisk in Cerrigar.

How to Provide Feedback
Our focus throughout the Beta is on tuning difficulty, improving mechanics, expanding monster variety, and introducing new rewards–all fueled by your feedback. Each season will bring updates as we shape The Tower into a mighty endgame pillar.
To provide feedback or bug reports, you can submit those to the dedicated Tower and Leaderboards subforum.
Prepare for More to Come
The Beta release of the Tower and Leaderboards is just the beginning. Your feedback will directly influence how this mode evolves, helping us tune difficulty, expand encounters, and shape a leaderboard experience worth mastering. Thank you for participating in the Beta!
