Update: the issue has now been fixed!
Hi all!
Thanks for your patience on this. We’ve resolved the issues for the crash called out and will continue to monitor sessions for stability.
Diablo 4 Season 12 has officially launched, but many players are currently running into issues shortly after logging into the game.
While queues were expected at launch, players report that they cannot properly start the seasonal content after logging in. There are also reports of disconnects, freezes, and unusual bugs that prevent progression.
Here are a few of the issues currently reported:
- Characters getting stuck in town
- Waypoints not working
- Being stuck inside the seasonal quest room
- Unable to teleport away
- “Exit Dungeon” not working
- Characters loading into black screens
Season launches for Diablo 4 often bring a lot of players back to the game, and that can sometimes lead to temporary server instability during the first few hours.
