Diablo 4 Season of Reckoning Rewards Get a Massive Upgrade

The Diablo 4 Season of Reckoning rewards are getting a major overhaul, and this might be one of the most content-heavy seasonal updates yet.

Instead of introducing a traditional seasonal mechanic, Blizzard is doubling down on progression. Season Rank has been significantly expanded, now featuring over 100 objectives and a huge pool of rewards for players to chase.

Over 100 Objectives and Rewards to Unlock

Season Rank is bigger than ever, with nine ranks packed full of progression milestones.

Players can earn:

  • Up to 12 Skill Points
  • Up to 42 Paragon Points
  • Up to 14 Resplendent SparkResplendent Sparks
  • New cosmetics, titles, and emblems
  • Mount trophies and pets
  • Crafting materials, boss keys, and gear caches

This makes the Diablo 4 Season of Reckoning rewards system feel far more like a full progression track rather than a side activity.

One thing to note. Just under 25% of the objectives require Lord of Hatred, so not all rewards will be available to those without the expansion.

Season Blessings Return With Meaningful Choices

As you progress, you’ll unlock Smoldering Ashes, which can be spent on Season Blessings.

These include bonuses like:

  • Increased rewards from the Purveyor of Curiosities
  • Better material returns from salvaging
  • More efficient Glyph upgrades
  • Increased chances for Ancestral caches

This system continues to reward consistent play while giving players control over how they progress.

A Different Kind of Season

Unlike previous seasons, Season of Reckoning does not introduce a new story or gameplay mechanic.

Instead, it acts as a bridge to the Lord of Hatred expansion, focusing on:

  • Core system overhauls
  • Skill tree redesigns
  • Itemization changes
  • Endgame improvements

Blizzard is clearly prioritizing long-term systems over temporary seasonal gimmicks.

Tower and Leaderboards Return

The update also brings back the Tower and Leaderboards beta, giving competitive players another reason to push their builds to the limit.

Combined with the expanded Season Rank, this creates a loop where:

  • You progress through objectives
  • Improve your build
  • Push higher difficulty content
  • Climb the leaderboards

For players, that means more reasons to log in, more goals to chase, and a progression system that actually feels worth the grind. Season of Reckoning launches on April 27, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. PDT
