Diablo 4’s Season 8 is in full swing, but some players are raising concerns over what feels like a major nerf to drop rates for Legendary Runes and Mythic Uniques.
Players Report Low Legendary Rune Drop Rates
Reddit user hennyis1 started a thread on Reddit, asking the community about their Legendary Rune drop rates in the ongoing season.

It didn’t take long for others to chime in, and in fact, multiple players confirmed lower drop rates. Specifically, Pandeyxo saw just 3 Legendary Runes at Paragon 200.
Bza4207 is at Paragon 170 and saw just 2 Legendary Runes drop so far in the season.
Crafting System Feels Broken
A separate thread added more weight to the discussion. This one’s about the crafting system and how broken it feels with the Legendary Rune drop rate nerfs. Crafting Mythic Uniques now feels “impossible” due to the requirement of 6 Legendary Runes per craft.
