At the start of Season 11, for Diablo 4 players, there is another new weapon cosmetic Twitch drop. Previously, we got a one-handed sword during the Diablo 4 developer update livestream. Much like all Twitch drops, all you need to do is watch a bit of Diablo 4 content during the start of the season. This time, players have the chance to earn the Barbute Hacker One-handed cosmetic for the Barbarian.
Diablo 4 Twitch Drop: How to Earn the Barbute Hacker One-handed Axe

To celebrate the start of Season 11, aka the Season of Divine Intervention, from December 12, 9 a.m.—December 26, 10 a.m. PST, players who watch at least 2 hours of any eligible Diablo 4 streamer with drops enabled will unlock the Barbute Hacker One-handed cosmetic. But remember, this weapon is only available for Barbarians.
How to Link Your Battle.net and Twitch Accounts
If your accounts are not linked, the drop will not show up. You can link them in just a few steps:
- Open the Connections page
- Click the Twitch entry and follow the on-screen steps
- Log in to your Battle.net account
- Once both accounts are linked, you are ready to earn progress
- Once you earn the drop, open your Twitch Drops Inventory and claim the drop.
There is no requirement to own Diablo 4 or Vessel of Hatred to make progress on drops.
Where You Can Watch and Claim the Drop
You can earn, watch, and claim drops on:
- Desktop browser
- Mobile browser
- Twitch app on Android or iOS
Drops do not work on console apps, smart TVs, or TV-based Twitch apps. Streams in background tabs or inactive windows also do not count, so keep the player visible while you watch, or at least keep the stream’s audio on.
If you do not claim the reward within seven days, it will expire.
