Each season, new and returning players ask the same question: “What is the secret to killing Lilith?”
Turns out, even in 2025, Echo of Lilith is still one shooting people the moment they step into that dungeon in Kyovashad.
But the good news is that she is actually easier than ever to deal with now, if you know the tricks. It does require a little bit more than just getting good at the game.
You Only Need to Kill Lilith Once for the Spark
A lot of players forget that you get one
Resplendent Spark for killing Lilith on any Torment level. The Season Journey step that says “Kill Lilith on T4 with Chaos Armor” is optional. You only need 6 out of the 7 objectives to finish the chapter, so you can easily skip the Lilith one and get the others done.
If you really just want your spark quickly, do it in Torment 1, you will literally smash her, and you will get your
Resplendent Spark.
For those who want to complete the Torment 4 challenge, here are a few tips that will make it really easy for you!
Preparation
Before the fight, you will have to make sure you are ready. You do need a well-geared high-tier build for it:
- Max out your armor and resistances
- Max out your Glyphs
- Make sure all your gear is Tempered and Masterworked 12/12
- Use an Elixir and Incense for extra power
Phase 1 Strategy
During the first phase, here are the main mechanics Lilith will use:
- She will jump around, and you want to continuously keep attacking as she lands.
- When Lilith summons adds, clear them, and continue to DPS. If you have a well-geared build, you should melt the adds rather quickly.
- When she jumps again, move to the edge of the circular arena. You can either place yourself at the bottom, or on the sides.
- This is when the wave mechanic starts:
- Stand near the edge (bottom gives you a better view).
- When the waves appear, evade through it to move across to the opposite side.
- From there, you can step left or right to dodge extra waves if needed.
- Alternate pattern:
- Instead of normal waves, she sometimes creates a large circle in the middle with 3 tangent waves moving outward.
- Hug the arena edge and walk around it, this easily avoids all damage. With good damage, this phase should end very quickly.
Phase 2 Strategy
- Lilith will reappear in the center, and that is when you want to burst her down. Release all the damage you can.
- If she has life left, she will destroy the map in three sections, one after another:
- Place yourself at the Top left first and move to the right side as soon as she breaks the top
- Move to the left side as soon as she breaks the right side. Walk around the edges of the Arena.
- End the phase in the middle of the Arena
- During the same phase, you also have to handle Firebolt attacks:
- When she fires the tracking projectiles, walk along the arena edge to avoid them.
- Use Evade, Teleport, Dash, Flame Shield, Blood Mist, or Leap to escape danger.
- When she breaks each section:
- First section: Start near it, run around the edge as it collapses.
- Second/third sections:
- Do not stand directly where she targets.
- Wait, then step into the safe area and circle around the edge.
For this strategy, you can also take a look at Raxx’s video about how to crush Lilith, as it is his original technique, and the video gives you nice visual indications!
Even if the video is over a year old, and Lilith was modified a few times, this remains the best strategy today to beat Lilith, and it will most likely still be the best one during Season 11!
If you really struggle, do not hesitate to open a “carry” group in the party finder. There are usually always a few players willing to help out, that will blast her for you so you can get your
Resplendent Spark!
