Reaching Paragon 300 in Diablo 4 sounds like the ultimate endgame milestone, but there is a good reason not that many players actually grind up until that point.
A recent Reddit thread has players comparing their progress past Paragon 285, and the numbers are crazy. Many estimate it takes between 40 and 60 hours of non-stop farming to make it to 300, depending on your build and how fast you clear The Pit.
For anyone not zooming through high tiers, that is easily hundreds and hundreds of runs, and some even estimate close to 1,000 if your setup is not perfectly optimized.
The XP Wall Hits Hard
Players say the XP curve between 285 and 300 ramps up massively, with some reporting only 0.1% XP gain per Pit run on Tier 70+ content.
“The XP bar barely moves past 285,” one player joked. “It is like Blizzard decided fun stops here.”
Others compared it to the Paragon push days of Diablo III, but this time there is no new power or gear reward at the top.
Tips From the Community
For those brave enough to keep pushing, here are a few ways to make it a little bit less painful:
- Stick to Pit Tier 70-90 for the best XP and time ratio.
- Always use Elixirs of Experience and Blessings that increase experience gained.
- Run in groups to make it faster.
- Prioritize elite-heavy maps for maximum XP gain.
Even with all that, the grind is still slow. Many agree Paragon 300 is more of an endurance test than a goal with real gameplay. It is really all about doing the same thing over and over for hours, for nothing more than just the right to brag about making it to 300.
Some are hoping Blizzard might change the XP needed or add extra rewards for reaching those last levels. Until then, anyone who wants to reach 300 should prepare for one of Diablo 4’s longest grinds yet!
