It is only one line in Blizzard’s official list about the Lord of Hatred Expansion features, but honestly, it might be one of the biggest quality-of-life additions Diablo 4 has ever gotten. In fact, it is so big, many players might come back to the game with the next expansion, just because it was finally added!
A Surprise Feature
“A new Loot Filter empowers players to target desired gear more efficiently.”
Players have been asking for this since before launch, and it is finally happening with Lord of Hatred.
No more drowning in yellows, no more struggling with checking affixes mid-fight, no more “non-stop inventory Tetris.” Loot Filters are indeed confirmed!

A proper Loot Filter means faster farming, cleaner screens, and way less frustration, especially once the expansion adds even more gear and build options.
Between the Paladin reveal and long-awaited quality-of-life upgrades such as this one, Lord of Hatred is already promising a ton of good content, and Blizzard is not stopping here! This is just the start of what we are getting for the new expansion. The road to April 2026 might end up being just as exciting as the expansion itself.
