Blizzard have shared some more details on the types of Malignant Heart we’ll be getting in Season 1! These gem-like items will be socketable in jewelry, and drop as either Vicious, Brutal, Devious or Wrathful. Each comes from their namesake monster type (or can be crafted) and have different properties, so let’s take a look!
Each of these can only go in the same color socket in rings or amulets, except for Wrathful, which can be socketed into any color socket. We’ll also be able to dismantle them for materials which we can then use to craft new ones as well. Blizzard have said these powers will be build-defining and powerful, and we’ve already seen 3 of the 32 total:
