Infernal Hordes has really solidified itself as THE source for masterworking materials in Season 5, with some gold on the side. With so many tips and tier lists on how to get over 1K Aether, players are dumping it into masterworking mats and then getting a little bit of gold at the end. Well, one player went the other way and decided to dump 1110 Aether directly into gold, almost crashing their game!
Unfortunately we don’t have a screenshot of all the gold gathered, but it’s a cool 148 million! Other players chimed in the comments and mentioned that even smaller amounts got their game stuttering and on the brink of a crash, as all that gold instantly picked up seems to do a number on Diablo 4.
Gold has finally stopped being the bottleneck for many D4 things, and Infernal Hordes is quickly becoming everyone’s favorite activity. Hopefully Blizzard brings it back after Season 5 and improves on it, especially the massive gold stacks almost crashing your game!
