It has been a surprising week for Diablo 4 fans with the release of Season 11 and the shadow drop of the new Paladin class. Now moving forward, we know that all roads lead to the upcoming Lord of Hatred expansion. But one detail that some fans may have overlooked is that Paladin isn’t the only new class coming to Diablo 4. So the question still remains: What is the new class?
What Will the Second Lord of Hatred Class be?

There have been community desires and wants throughout several years. Many fans look back to the past games and hope for the return of one of the old school classes, with Witch Doctor being high on that list. But aside from Witch Doctor and Crusader (which Paladin basically takes the slot for), who else could we possibly see the return of?
Looking Back at Past Classes

There is a handful of classes that could make a return alongside Paladin. In terms of theming, two already stand out if Blizzard wants to ship them as a loose pair. The first guess could be the return of the Amazon or the Monk. Both of these classes follow a similar thematic type, with the Paladin when it comes to holding up a sense of order or balance.
Our second guess could be the Blood Knight, or maybe Tempest? Both of these classes are only in Diablo Immortal, so since they are already within the realm of playable classes, it’s a slight possibility that Blizzard would want to bring a previous creation to Diablo 4, rather than make a new class like the Spiritborn.
However, another guess would be keeping with the Paladin theme by bringing in a Priest class. This could be a likely case since the next zone players are going to is Skovos, one of Sanctuary’s oldest regions, and the ancestral birthplace of the first civilization.
However, this would also mean that Amazon, or possibly Monk, is also a good guess when considering this, since the Oracle and the Amazon Queen currently rule Skovos.
What Class is least likely to return to Diablo 4?
Aside from the Crusader, whose spot is basically taken by the Paladin, who is the least likely to return to Diablo 4? Despite us previously listing them as a possibility, Tempest likely won’t be coming to Diablo 4, now, since Sorcerer and, to an extent, Spiritborn also fulfill that class fantasy. Lastly, the Demon Hunter from D3 likely won’t be returning to D4 because the Rogue already takes its archetype as well.
Until we finally get the big reveal in Lord of Hatred, keep an eye on our Diablo 4 section.
