The Eorzean Aquariums and Eorzean Museum Network are holding the Wardens of Pride Charity Challenge. Catch a Warden of the Seven Hues and submit a valid screenshot to contribute towards donations to Lambda Legal!
Who are they? The Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, or just Lambda Legal, is an American civil rights organization that works towards the recognition of civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) individuals as well as everyone with HIV, through impact litigation, education, and public policy work. Charity Challenge Details
The Wardens of Pride Charity Challenge has already begun! It runs from Monday, June 1st, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. (EDT) to Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. (EDT). Catch a Warden of the Seven Hues this month and submit a full-screen screenshot to their Twitter, Bluesky, or designated channels in the Eorzean Museum Network and Fishcord Discord channels. Every valid entry contributes $1 USD to Eorzean Museum Network’s donation to Lambda Legal, up to a maximum of $1,000 USD. Lambda Legal will be matching each dollar donated!
Ensure you follow all submission rules so your entry doesn’t get disqualified. For example, you must use the hashtag #WardensOfPride when submitting your screenshot. Pay careful attention to the spelling and capitalization. For the full list of rules and guidelines, head over to the event page.
Catching Your Warden of the Seven Hues
The legendary fish in question requires Fishers to be level 70 or above, have their Gathering stat at 1300 or above, and to have used the Tome of Ichthyological Folklore – Othard. Grab some Stonefly Larva bait and set aside time for a lengthy preparation period before and during the fish’s window. These requirements are attainable in the Free Trial so free trial players can join in on the fun too!
In order to catch the Warden of the Seven Hues, you’ll need to have the Fisher’s Intuition buff in Yanxia’s Prism Lake (X:28.8 Y:6.8). To trigger the buff, you’ll need to catch 3x Indigo Prismfish (00:00 to 04:00, mooched from Violet Prismfish), 3x Firelight Goldfish (04:00 to 08:00, mooched from Red Prismfish), and 5x Green Prismfish (00:00 to 16:00, no mooch but weather requirement of Fair to Fair or Clear Skies). Of particular note is that the Green Prismfish shares the same conditions as the Warden itself, so consider making them the last fish needed to trigger the buff. Once activated, you’ll have 2.5 minutes to successfully reel in that !!! bite. Good luck!
Beware! Once you’ve begun building the requirements for the Fisher’s intuition buff, you may not fish at another hole nor leave Yanxia. However, you may still change classes, craft, or spearfish. Don’t accidentally reset your progress!
