Looking to get your hands on Evercold after the latest Fanfest? You’re in luck. Pre-orders are now live for FFXIV’s next expansion, though you’ll still need to wait until February 2027 to play it. Whether you want the standard edition, to go all out with collector’s items, here’s what each pre-order bundle contains:
What’s Included in Every Bundle:
Regardless of what version you choose, all Evercold pre-orders include early access to the game. This means you’ll be able to play starting Friday, February 19th 2027 at 1:00 AM PST. Those who did not pre-order will need to wait until February 23rd.
Additionally, pre-ordering will grant you two items, which you can use right away. Halone’s Earrings will grant you a 30% EXP bonus for defeating enemies, provided your character is below level 100. Perfect for leveling a new job you’re eager to try out with the incoming evolved mode. You’ll also receive the Wind up Köttr Minion, one of the cat-like critters appearing in the expansion.
Digital Collector’s Edition
If you want some more in-game swagger when you launch Evercold, the digital collector’s edition has a few more items on offer. Feeling nostalgic for FFXIII? The Valhallar Odin Mount will give you your very own Eidolon to ride across the Fourth. If you really want to get into character as the Warrior of Light, the Entreat Crystal Emote will provide the appropriate aura for your character. And those eager to try out the new main tank job Bastion can play the job in style with the Crystal Skyltborg weapons, equipable at any level.
Going all out with the Collector’s Bundle
If you’re an ultra-fan of XIV, don’t miss this. Available only on the Square Enix store, the Evercold Collector’s Bundle includes the digital collector’s items, and some stunning physical goodies:
- Special Art Box featuring a key illustration by series illustrator Yoshitaka Amano.
- Warrior of Light Reaper figure.
- Ethos Metal Keychain, styled after the in-game model.
- Köttr Mini Plush, in case you’re short on plushies.
- Tapestry of the Fourth.
If for some reason you only want the physical collector’s goods and no game, all of the collector’s edition items are available to purchase in the Collector’s Box.
There are also some bonuses for Xbox and Playstation players as well. Xbox players can download gamerpics for the Warrior of Light, Visna, and Baldr to use on their profiles. Playstation users will also avatars to use on their profile when early access begins, featuring the Warrior of Light, Alphinaud, and Estinien.
That’s everything up for pre-order. If you’re planning on picking up Evercold don’t miss out on early access. And as always, keeping checking in with Icy Veins for more news as we get closer to launch.
