FFXIV Chocobo Collab

A hearty kweh to you, Warriors of Light! A new delicious Final Fantasy XIV collaboration has begun today with Jollibee. If you’re itching for a crispy snack both in-game and out, this is your opportunity to snag the Eat Chicken emote.

The campaign runs between Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. until Sunday, May 31st, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (PDT). You have a little over a month to participate, so find your closest Jollibee, invite a friend, and plan to have some lunch!

What Are Your Options?

Similar to the Butterfinger collab five years ago, you’ll need a receipt and order information to obtain your in-game emote. However, you do have two options this time, so don’t worry if there isn’t a Jollibee near you. Either:

  1. Buy one of two Meals from any Jollibee location in the US or Canada during the campaign period:
    • Final Fantasy XIV Box Meal ($22.00 USD) which includes
      • 1 Chicken Sandwich (Original or Spicy)
      • 1 Regular Fries or Side
      • 1 Peach Mango Pie (Substitutes available in Canada)
      • 1 one-piece Chickenjoy
      • 1 Blue Raspberry Aether with Crystal Boba drink (US) OR Pineapple Quencher drink (Canada)
    • Final Fantasy XIV 6pc Bucket bundle ($36.00 USD) which includes
      • 1 six-piece Chickenjoy Bucket
      • 3 Blue Raspberry Aether with Crystal Boba drinks (US) OR Pineapple Quencher drinks (Canada)

You’re free to order either in-store, drive-thru, online pick-up, or by delivery. Meals and drinks will be served in limited-edition packaging featuring FFXIV characters, while supplies last.

  1. Buy collab merch from Complex during the campaign period
FFXIV Merch Shirts

Prices are $40 USD for the T-Shirts and $75 USD for the Crewneck Sweater or Hoodie. You are required to provide a valid shipping address in the US or Canada for collab merch purchases. Like the meals and their limited-edition packaging, promotional offers and merchandise are available while supplies last.

How Do I Eat Chicken In-Game?

Submit your receipt number and order information through their Jollibee redemption page before November 30th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (PST). Side note: if the link does not work, try using a different browser or accessing through the US regional site. Personally, it worked with Microsoft Edge and not Firefox.

After your submission is validated, the item code will be delivered to your email. This process may take 24 to 48 hours to process. (Full terms and conditions are provided, if you need).

Next, log into the Mog Station, ensure you’re on the correct service account, select “Enter Item Code”, and then follow as instructed.

If you’re curious to know what the Emote looks like, check out this video from Kureejii_panda, who showcases the same emote from a JP exclusive collab with KFC a few years ago.

Please note that the item code is not account-wide, so pick your hungriest character carefully. Furthermore, Free Trial accounts are not eligible for the promotion, sorry! The emote might be available again in the future, but likely purchased through the Mog Station or another restaurant collab, if I had to guess.

Standard disclaimers are also in effect: no replacement codes provided, no transfer or sale of codes, and item codes don’t expire unless Square Enix decides otherwise, provided they give advance notice.

Is the Eat Chicken Emote Worth It?

On a more personal note and opinion: do I think it’s worth it? Well, let’s consider that new emotes in the FFXIV Online Store end up priced at or around $7.00 USD. If you take that out of the cheapest meal option, it’s $15.00 USD for quite a generous meal portion. So with those in mind, yeah, the meal itself felt worth the cost.

The other options (other meal choice or clothing) are a fair bit more expensive, so that takes more consideration. Also, you may have friends who don’t have a Jollibee at a reasonable distance to them, and may feel obligated to purchase merch instead. That is a tough call, but I will say that the designs are very cute.

Regardless, I’m sure there will be more FFXIV collabs in the future, so don’t fret too much if you can’t get it now!

The NA Fan Fest is less than a week away (Friday!!) and we can’t wait. If you’re concerned you’ll miss the broadcast for the keynote with all the big announcements, we’ve got you covered! Just remember to check back here at Icy Veins.
