Now that the European Fan Festival has concluded, we are on to the final stage of FanFests for this year. In preparation for the Japanese FanFest in Tokyo, Square Enix has opened the third round of FFXIV merchandise pre-orders. This line-up includes miniature figures, plushies, clothing, and fashion accessories. Let’s learn more below!
What is the Merch This time?
Previous merch rounds have been very cute, and this round is no exception. In a clear sign that Square Enix knows their fans, they have included many chibi-fied versions of existing characters. This round of merchandise is sure to make your heart go kyu~n♪ and drain your wallet of its essence. Have you seen the Senor Otter pack from this year’s Make It Rain? 👀
You can either obtain the merch physically at the Tokyo FanFest on the 31st of October, or pre-order it digitally (available now!) The current estimated release date for merch ordered online is March 2027, but this is subject to change.

A New Party Game!?
This time around, there is a new party game included in the merch called Agents of Enquiry: A Realm Reborn. The Japanese header on the box says 「だいたい合ってるNPC名鑑」（daitai atteru NPC meikan), which translates to “a mostly accurate NPC encyclopedia.” Judging by the way it looks, it appears to be a memory game of sorts, but with a twist. For now, we can only guess at what it is, but surely we’ll know soon enough.
