Greetings, Warriors of Light. We hope everyone had a blast at the North American Fan Festival 2026 in Anaheim, California! But wait, there’s more! The FFXIV Fan Fest train is only getting started and our next stop in Berlin is fast approaching. July 25th is less than three months away with more juicy news on what’s to come in Evercold! Until then, we’ve got some new Fan Fest merchandise to whet your wallets and contests to cultivate your creativity!
What is Available for Pre-Order?
Thank you, Thancred, and your assistant Peter for the lovely showcase! There are quite a few new merch items available for pre-order and a lot of them are very cute. They are estimated for release July 24th, 2026 at the Berlin Fan Fest or you can pre-order them for delivery now! Also, if you’re interested in matching your Warrior of Light to your IRL glam, stay tuned! The in-game version of the Arcadion Champion shirt (shown at the very top) will become available in the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Store in the future.
Art and Video Contests Open for Submissions
Heads up! The Art and Video contests are accepting submissions until June 7th, 2026. The themes are different from the contests that were held for the NA Fan Fest, so make sure you pay close attention!
This time, the Art contest‘s theme is Journeys Spent Together between your Warrior of Light and your favorite companion(s). Meanwhile, the Video contest‘s theme is A Realm Rediscovered where participants are asked to showcase their WoL heading to or spending time in their (secret) favorite spot in a 10- or 30-second video.
Details, rules, and procedures are all found in their respective announcements, so make sure to read through them carefully. You don’t want to get disqualified after putting in a lot of hard work! Of course, there are prizes for both finalists (an in-game item of your choice from a list) and winners (physical items signed by Yoshi-P).
We’re looking forward to the Berlin Fan Fest as it brings us closer to Evercold! What do you think the new job revealed in Berlin will be? We had Botanists evolve into Reapers. Why not something like a ranged DPS that throws fish? Sorry, Blue Mage, Flying Sardine isn’t cutting it. When the time comes, make sure to check Icy Veins to see if your guess (or mine) was correct!
