Are NTE’s First Rerun Banners Still Worth It?

Neverness to Everness Version 1.3 is right around the corner, and with it comes NTE’s first rerun banners! The two returning characters are Nanally and Hotori. Nanally will be running alongside Zankou’s banner, while Hotori will run alongside Linko. As with any rerun banner, the question is naturally, are they still worth pulling for?

Who Are Nanally and Hotori?

Nanally is an Anima main DPS who can boost her own CRIT damage with her skill. She can use her Ultimate, Basic Attack combo, and Skill to deliver a lot of damage quickly. Her Blossom reaction enhancement allows Vita Buds to fire double the amount of shots. This is a potent combo when combined with other blossom enchantment teammates, such as Iroi or Mint.

Hotori is a Cosmos Esper, fulfilling a sub DPS role. Her Redirect Skill can record the Skills of her team members and use them with her Ultimate. Her Ultimate also freezes time and allows her to make numerous attacks before doing one large attack and unfreezing time. She has a Blossom enhancement, though hers allows Vita Buds to continue firing while time is frozen.

Are They Still Worth Pulling For?

Both Nanally and Hotori are still strong Espers with great teams. However, their pull value really depends on what characters you currently have.

Nanally is the strongest Anima main DPS currently. She helps create a strong Blossom team when paired with Iroi, Jiuyuan, and Zero. However, since the game’s release, there has been plenty of strong main DPS Espers, including the fully free S-rank Chiz. So if you still need a main DPS, especially for a Charge or Blossom reaction team, she is a great pull!

Hotori, as a Sub DPS, does not have a lot of Espers filling the same role. However, she is competing with one very strong alternative. The main character, Zero, who is also a Cosmos Esper and does a large amount of damage with their burst. Though, Hitori is focused more on her personal damage as a sub dps as well as replaying other character’s skills. While Zero is much more focused on Esper cycle reactions. Linko, who is running alongside her, is also a sub dps. But the two of them fulfill very different roles as Linko is focused on Support Skills and the Hexed reaction. If you want someone that doesn’t need a lot of field time to do good damage. She is well worth pulling for.

Are Their Arcs Useful?

Alongside their banners, their signature Arcs will also be available again in the Arc Research Program:

Nanally’s signature Arc Ready-Ready has strong stats boosting CRIT Rate and Attack. In addition, it also has the ability to buff Basic Attack and deal bonus damage to bosses. This Arc is her best in slot and well worth it if you are using her. It is also a good alternative Arc choice for Aurelia and Linko. Though, with free alternatives available, it is not worth picking up for those two characters specifically.

Hotori’s signature Marching Beyond Time also boosts CRIT Rate and Attack. While it is able to boost the CRIT Damage of Ultimates as well as provide Defense ignore. This Arc is the best in slot weapon for both her and for Zero in most situations. It is a great Arc to pick up for either character.

Both Nanally and Hotori are still very strong Espers in their roles. They can be well worth picking up depending on the Espers you have to use with them. As always, however, the choice is ultimately yours if you want to pick them up or not.
