Genshin Impact 5.6: Pull the Dendro Spider-Man or Electro Archon?

Phase 2 of Genshin Impact‘s 5.6 update brings a tough choice for Travelers: Kinich, the blazing-fast Dendro DPS from Natlan, or Raiden Shogun, the powerful Electro Archon from Inazuma. If you’re wondering which one deserves your Primogems, we’ve broken it down to help you decide.

Pull for Kinich if You Want a High-Speed Dendro Dps

Kinich, the Saurian Hunter of the Scions of the Canopy, brings unmatched agility and a unique combat style to the table. Despite wielding a claymore, his attack speed is one of the fastest in the game, thanks to his Skill and Nightsoul’s Blessing mechanic.

With his “Canopy Hunter: Riding High” skill, Kinich can grab onto an enemy and loop around it, and shoot Dendro attacks. This makes him ideal for Burning or Burgeon teams.

Beyond combat, Kinich is a perfect partner for exploration. His grappling hook allows you to launch yourself around Teyvat like Spider-Man.

Pull for Raiden Shogun if You Want Raw Power

The Raiden Shogun is the Archon of Inazuma, and for good reason. Her devastating Musou no Hitotachi Burst not only shreds enemies, but it also helps recharge your entire team’s energy, making her a very flexible partner. You can use her as a Main DPS, Sub-DPS, Electro battery, or even reaction enabler, Raiden has a home in nearly every team.

So… Who Should You Pull For?

Keep in mind, though, that the long-awaited Skirk and Dahlia are most likely coming up next. If you’re aiming for either of them, you might want to hold onto your Primogems and skip this phase entirely, especially if you’re short on resources or saving for specific meta goals.

In the end, it all comes down to who you prefer. Both Kinich and Raiden Shogun have strengths and weaknesses. If you love the character and their story, there’s no wrong choice. After all, the best unit is the one you enjoy playing the most.
