Every season imposes specific character limitations, while offering trial and invitation characters that let you try out units beyond the main elemental lineup. This design encourages strategic planning and creative team building. Clearing the acts grants Primogems, upgrade materials, and unique cosmetics, making the mode a fresh and engaging counterpart to the Spiral Abyss.

The Imaginarium Theater update for Genshin Impact Version 6.5 introduces a refreshed lineup of challenges featuring the Pyro, Hydro, and Dendro elements. For 6.5 the Opening Role layout has been updated to include Dehya, Yanfei, Kamisato Ayato, Dahlia, Kinich and Kirara, offering players a diverse foundation for team experiments. Joining them are the Special Invitations Albedo, Razor, Varka and Zibai who further expand the possibilities for creative and flexible party building during this period.
