Zibai's Strengths & Weaknesses
Zibai is shaping up to be one of the strongest DPS characters in the game, capable of competing with top-tier damage dealers, especially when paired with Columbina.
Zibai is one of the most F2P-friendly DPS characters available, thanks to strong 3-star weapon options such as Harbinger of Dawn and highly accessible 4-star supports like Illuga.
Zibai provides access to the new Lunar-Crystallize reaction, adding a unique layer of elemental interaction and increasing overall team versatility.
Zibai has exceptional synergy with Hydro and Geo teammates, particularly Lunar characters such as Columbina and Illuga, allowing her to fully capitalize on her passive buffs and reaction-based damage.
While Zibai is very F2P-friendly, her damage potential increases significantly when paired with Columbina, making her overall performance noticeably lower without this synergy.
As a Nod-Krai Lunar character, Zibai requires consistent uptime on Ascendant Gleam to achieve maximum damage, which can add rotational and team-building constraints.
Zibai strongly prefers Hydro and Geo teammates to fully benefit from her passive effects, limiting her effectiveness in teams that rely heavily on other elements.
Teams outside of Hydro- and Geo-focused compositions generally offer weaker synergy with Zibai, reducing her overall flexibility compared to some more universal DPS options.

Plunging Attack
Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon impact.
Summoning a shadow of her former powers, she switches to the Lunar Phase Shift mode.
In this mode, Zibai's Normal Attacks and Charged Attacks will deal Geo DMG that cannot be overridden by other infusions, and she can accrue special Phase Shift Radiance through different methods. Zibai can consume Phase Shift Radiance to unleash the special Elemental Skill Spirit Steed's Stride.
Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam
While in the Lunar Phase Shift mode, when Zibai performs Normal Attacks, the fourth attack will deal an additional instance of Geo DMG, which is considered Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG.
Zibai operates the Jadelight Canopy, dealing two instances of Geo DMG, with the second damage instance being considered Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG.
When cast, if Zibai is in the Lunar Phase Shift, the duration of the current Lunar Phase Shift will extend by an additional 1.7s.
After using the Elemental Skill Heaven and Earth Made Manifest, Zibai will change to this mode. This mode lasts at most {PARAM#P1263201|4S1}s and has the following properties:
· Normal and Charged Attacks are converted into Geo DMG that cannot be overridden by other infusions.
· The Elemental Skill Heaven and Earth Made Manifest will also be converted to the Elemental Skill Spirit Steed's Stride: When Zibai has at least 70 Phase Shift Radiance, she can consume 70 Phase Shift Radiance to unleash Spirit Steed's Stride and cause two instances of Geo DMG. The second instance will be considered Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG.
A maximum of 100 Phase Shift Radiance points can be accrued, and Zibai can accumulate them in the following ways:
· She gains 10 points every second she is in the Lunar Phase Shift mode.
· She gains 5 points when hitting an opponent with her Normal Attacks. She can gain Phase Shift Radiance points in this way once every 0.5s.
Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam
When nearby party members trigger Lunar-Crystallize, they will also accrue 35 Phase Shift Radiance points for Zibai. Points can be gained this way once every 4s. Unleashing the special elemental skill Spirit Steed's Stride will reset the CD for Phase Shift Radiance gained this way.
Zibai will leave this mode after unleashing Spirit Steed's Stride 4 times, or when the skill's duration ends.
Zibai's Ascension Passive Talents
When casting the Elemental Skill Heaven and Earth Made Manifest, or when triggering Moondrift Harmony, Zibai gains the Moonfall effect for 4s: The DMG dealt by the 2nd hit of Spirit Steed's Stride is increased by 60% of Zibai's DEF.
At night (18:00 – 06:00), when not in combat, restore 1 Elemental Energy to Zibai every 2 seconds.
This effect does not work in Domains, Trounce Domains, or the Spiral Abyss.
When a party member triggers a Hydro Crystallize reaction, it will be converted into the Lunar-Crystallize reaction, with every 100 DEF that Zibai has increasing Lunar-Crystallize's Base DMG by 0.7%, up to a maximum of 14%.
Additionally, when Zibai is in the party, the party's Moonsign will increase by 1 level.
Zibai's Constellations
After using the Elemental Skill Heaven and Earth Made Manifest, Zibai will immediately gain 100 Phase Shift Radiance, and the max number of Spirit Steed's Stride usages per Lunar Phase Shift mode is increased to 5 times.
Additionally, each time you switch to the Lunar Phase Shift mode, the first Spirit Steed's Stride's 2nd-hit Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG is increased by 220%.
When in the Lunar Phase Shift mode, all nearby party members' Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG is increased by 30%.
Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam: Ascension Talent The Selenic Adeptus Descends is enhanced: the 2nd hit of Spirit Steed's Stride deals additional DMG equal to 550% of Zibai's DEF. You must first unlock the Ascension Talent "The Selenic Adeptus Descends."
Increases the Level of Elemental Skill Heaven and Earth Made Manifest by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
While in the Lunar Phase Shift mode, Zibai's Normal Attack sequence will not reset, and when Spirit Steed's Stride hits opponents, Zibai will gain the "Scattermoon Splendor" effect: The next time she uses Normal Attacks, the additional attack from her 4th hit will deal 250% of the original damage as Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG.
Increases the Level of Tri-Sphere Eminence by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
While Zibai is in the Lunar Phase Shift mode, her Phase Shift Radiance gain rate is increased by 50%.
Additionally, Spirit Steed's Stride will change such that it will consume all Phase Shift Radiance. This will elevate the DMG dealt by this instance of Spirit Steed's Stride and the Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG dealt by Zibai within the next 3s by 1.6% for every point consumed above 70.
