HoYoverse has unveiled the second phase of Genshin Impact’s Luna III, titled A Nocturne of the Far North, bringing a fresh set of character banners, weapon banners, limited time events and system updates for fans to enjoy throughout the rest of the year and early January.
New Character Event Wishes
Phase II introduces two featured 5-star character banners running from 23rd December, 2025 until 13th January, 2026. These two banners are as follows:
- Cornucopia of Contention highlights Varesa, joined by boosted drop rates for Iansan, Chevreuse and Gaming.
- Forgefire’s Blessing features Xilonen as the main 5-star character with the same trio of 4-star characters receiving increased boost rates.
These banners give players a chance to strengthen their teams with both new and returning faces.
Weapon Banner – Epitome Invocation
The accompanying weapon banner showcases two featured 5-star weapons:
- Vivid Notions (Catalyst – Varesa’s Signature Weapon)
- Peak Patrol Song (Sword – Xilonen’s signature Weapon)
Several popular 4-star weapons are also included making this banner appealing for players looking to upgrade their builds during the phase.
Phase II Limited Time Events
Multiple events will run alongside the banners during Phase II of Luna III:
- Heroic Clash: Saurian Brawl (29th December, 2025 – 7th January, 2026)
A co-op focused challenge where players inhabit Natlan Saurians and battle other teams in an arena setting to earn Primogems and additional rewards. - Marvelous Merchandise (5th January, 2026 – 12th January, 2026)
By opening Boxes o’ Marvels players can obtain Primogems, character and weapon enhancement materials and other useful resources. Liben offers seven different box types and players can preview each box’s contents before deciding whether to open it. Rewards may vary based on individual game progress. Visiting other players worlds gives you the option to claim boxes you prefer offering more flexibility in reward selection.
Imaginarium Theater Update for Luna III
A new season of Imaginarium Theater launches on 1st January, 2026 introducing:
- A revised set of elemental restrictions
- A fresh lineup of opening characters and special guests
Additionally, Nahida, Furina, Xiao, and Dori will each receive a new Thespian Trick, redeemable through NPC Wolfy, expanding their performance options within the mode.
