Flins released today in Genshin Impact, and he is already stirring up plenty of discussion. The big question across the community is, is Flins useless without Ineffa?
Some players have been saying that Flins “needs” Ineffa to work, and yes, it is true that Ineffa unlocks his maximum potential if you want to min-max his damage, but the idea that he is bad without her is not really that accurate.
How Good Is Really Flins
A recent post on Twitter shows a full F2P team absolutely killing it with Flins! One player decided to prove everyone wrong by showcasing his F2P, Ineffa-free Flins team, and it does work really nice:
- Flins (C0R1)
- Aino (C1)
- Sucrose (C6)
- Kuki Shinobu (C4)
The result is over 200k damage, no Ineffa required. You can take a look at the original post here:
Could it be better with Ineffa? Yes, of course, damage could be better. However, you do not need her for him to still work perfectly fine. So do not be afraid to pull, he is far from useless on his own.
You do need another Nod-Krai character to activate his buff, but Aino for example does perfectly the trick. Keep also in mind that future characters will most likely fit really well with him as well.
Remember that, no matter the meta, if you like a character, just pull for it. There is always a way to make a character great and working in Genshin Impact!
