Nefer has officially appeared in the latest Genshin Impact leaks! And between new renders for her character, and a few zoomed-in images, players quickly noticed one striking detail! She has fangs.
Based on current info, she is expected to arrive during Luna I (likely version 6.1), right after Flins and Lauma, and she is of course tied to Nod-Krai.
Nefer’s Kit (Leaked)
There is not much information yet, and it is just bits and pieces of skills and constellations, but here is what the early kit data suggests so far:
- Elemental Skill: Nefer leaps into the air and… [details incomplete]
- Elemental Burst: Summons her polyhedral device to… [details incomplete]
- Passive Talent 1: Bloom doesn’t create Dendro cores, but instead grants Nefer a special buff.
- Passive Talent 2: Boosts ATK (possibly scales ATK off Elemental Mastery).
- Passive Talent 3: Similar to Lauma’s.
- Passive Talent 4: Extra rewards when sent on Nod-Krai expeditions.
- C1: Unknown.
- C2: Enhances one of her passives.
- C3: Increases Elemental Skill level.
- C4: Lowers enemy Dendro RES.
- C5: Increases Elemental Burst level.
- C6: Unknown, but reportedly very strong.
The leak did raise mixed responses across Reddit. Players do love Nefer’s design (and the fangs), but her early kit has raised concerns:
- Team restrictions: Nefer disables Hyperbloom and Burgeon reactions, limiting her to strict Dendro/Hydro comps.
- Damage concerns: After Natlan, most “good” characters hit around 100k damage with standard investment. Nefer reportedly struggles to reach that threshold.
- Synergy issues: She can not generate Dendro cores herself, which means no synergy with Nilou Bloom. Columbina does not help much unless Lauma C1 is included.
- Constellations: Her C6 is supposed to be powerful, but her lower constellations may feel underwhelming. We could not find details on the C6 for now.
Players are already making puns like “I Nefer expected this”, but the general vibe is cautious. Some see potential, but others feel she does not bring anything new to the table. And that is currently a reoccurring feeling, sadly.
As always, take these leaks with a grain of salt. Nefer’s kit and numbers are barely known right now, and may change before her official release.
