Vesna will be arriving in Genshin Impact during the Version 7.1 Update. They are a 5-star Anemo element character currently thought to be a Main DPS who will wield a sword. Although we dont know much yet here are their known abilities from currently known information from Seele_Leaks.
What Abilities and Skills Does Vesna Use?
Normal Attack (Light Dance):
Normal Attack
Light Dance – Performs up to six consecutive sword strikes.
Charged Attack
Kick – Consumes a certain amount of Stamina, briefly leaps into the air, and performs a swift stomping attack forward.
Plunging Attack – Plunges from mid-air, striking enemies along the path and dealing AoE DMG upon landing.
Elemental Burst: (Spirit Sword: Explosion):
Vesna summons numerous Spirit Swords and unleashes a spectacular and dazzling Spirit Sword: Explosion in front of her, dealing AoE Anemo DMG and restoring 1 Spirit Sword Might.
Radiance, Stellar Swirl: The Spirit Swords are converted into Stellar Spirit Swords, dealing Anemo DMG considered Stellar Swirl reaction DMG.
Elemental Skill: (Spirit Sword: Rise):
Vesna raises her weapon and calls upon the power of the Spirit Sword, dealing AoE
Anemo DMG around her. She then enters the Spirit Sword Armament state and gains 2
Spirit Sword Might.
Spirit Sword Armament
When Vesna performs Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, or Plunging Attacks, they are
converted into Anemo DMG that cannot be overridden by other Elemental Infusions, and
she summons a Spirit Feather to attack enemies, dealing Anemo DMG. Each time a Spirit
Feather is summoned, Vesna restores Spirit Sword Might.
Vesna can consume Spirit Sword Might to cast a Special Elemental Skill, attacking
enemies together with the Spirit Sword and dealing Anemo DMG.
During a single instance of Spirit Sword Armament, each Special Elemental Skill cast
upgrades the Spirit Sword in sequence:
Spirit Sword: Thrust
Spirit Sword: Fall
Spirit Sword: Dance
While in Spirit Sword Armament, Vesna’s resistance to interruption is increased.
When Spirit Sword Armament ends, all Spirit Sword Might is cleared.
Radiance, Stellar Swirl: The Spirit Sword is converted into a Stellar Spirit Sword, dealing
Anemo DMG considered Stellar Swirl reaction DMG.
Spirit Sword Armament
After casting Spirit Sword: Rise, Vesna enters this state.
Vesna’s Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Plunging Attacks are converted into
Anemo DMG that cannot be overridden by other Elemental Infusions, while summoning
Spirit Feathers to attack enemies and deal Anemo DMG. Each Spirit Feather restores
Spirit Sword Might.
Vesna can consume Spirit Sword Might to cast Special Elemental Skills, attacking
together with the Spirit Sword and dealing Anemo DMG. During a single Spirit Sword
Armament instance, each Special Elemental Skill cast upgrades the Spirit Sword in
sequence: Spirit Sword: Thrust → Spirit Sword: Fall → Spirit Sword: Dance.
Vesna has increased resistance to interruption while in this state. When she exits Spirit
Sword Armament, all Spirit Sword Might is cleared.
Ascension Passives:
Poise
After Vesna casts Spirit Sword: Thrust, Spirit Sword: Fall, Spirit Sword: Dance, or Spirit
Sword: Explosion, she gains 1 stack of Poise for 20s, stacking up to 6 times.
Casting Spirit Sword: Rise or leaving the field clears all Poise stacks.
Each stack of Poise increases the DMG dealt by all of Vesna’s Spirit Swords and Stellar
Spirit Swords by 10% of their original DMG, up to a maximum of 160% of their original
DMG.
Finesse
Radiance, Stellar Swirl: Based on the Elemental Types of characters in the party,
including Vesna herself, Vesna gains additional bonuses:
For each Cryo or Anemo character in the party, Vesna’s ATK increases by 6%.
For each character of another Element, Vesna’s Elemental Mastery increases by 25.
Passive Talent – Stellar Benediction: Shimmering Fairy
When a character in the party triggers a Cryo Swirl reaction, it is instead converted into
a Stellar Swirl reaction.
Based on Vesna’s ATK, increases the party’s base Stellar Swirl reaction DMG: for every
100 ATK, the base DMG of Stellar Swirl reactions is increased by 0.7%, up to a maximum
increase of 14% through this effect.
Within 8s after a character in the party triggers a Stellar Swirl reaction nearby, Vesna
enters the Radiance, Stellar Swirl state.
Light Feather
While out of combat, Vesna can enter Cruising state through the following methods:
Hold Sprint: After performing a rapid dash, enters Cruising.
Hold Jump: After performing a short rapid ascent, enters Cruising.
Cruising
Vesna floats in the air and continuously consumes Stamina. Certain actions are
changed:
Jump: Consumes Stamina and performs a leap.
Sprint: Consumes Stamina and rapidly dashes a short distance forward.
Tapping Elemental Skill, Normal Attack, or running out of Stamina will end Cruising.
If she is at a high altitude, tapping Normal Attack will perform a Plunging Attack.
Including the leap used to enter Cruising, Vesna can perform up to 3 leaps during a
single Cruising state.
Additionally, while out of combat in Snezhnaya, when another character in the party is
airborne while on the field, Vesna can be switched in to cast Glimmering Entrance.
Vesna will directly enter Cruising and restore 50 Stamina.
Glimmering Entrance can be used at most once every 10s.
Constellations:
C1
While Vesna is in Spirit Sword Armament, the number of times Spirit Sword: Dance can be used is increased by 1, and the first Spirit Sword: Dance cast after entering Spirit Sword Armament does not consume Spirit Sword Might.
Additionally, while Spirit Sword Armament is active, Vesna’s own Stellar Swirl reaction DMG is increased by 20%.
C2
Enhances the effect of the Ascension Talent Poise:
When Vesna enters Spirit Sword Armament, she immediately gains the maximum number of Poise stacks.
Additionally, when Vesna has maximum Poise stacks, her ATK is increased by 60%.
C4
The effects provided by Vesna’s Ascension Talent Finesse are increased by 200%.
C6
For 5s after casting Spirit Sword: Dance, Vesna can tap her Elemental Skill or Normal Attack to cast Spirit Sword: Step, dealing 150% ATK as Anemo DMG.
At the same time, she drives the Stellar Spirit Sword to deal 200% ATK as Anemo DMG considered Stellar Swirl reaction DMG.
If Vesna is in Spirit Sword Armament, this attack can also summon a Spirit Feather.
The Stellar Spirit Sword generated by Spirit Sword: Step can also benefit from the enhancement provided by the first Ascension Talent.
Additionally, Vesna’s Stellar Swirl reaction DMG is increased by 20%.
