On top of the reveal of the new closed beta test available, HoYoverse has shared new information for Honkai: Nexus Anima. This time, focusing on one of the game’s core mechanics: Anima evolution. The latest graphic, titled “A Traveler’s Guide to the Planes: Anima“, gives players a closer look at how Anima can evolve.
This post gives players their first confirmation that evolution will be a mechanic present in Honkai: Nexus Anima, showing Inkifoal can evolve into Inkicorn and then into Atragasus. There is currently no information on what level these Anima can evolve.
Players already expected evolution to be a mechanic after seeing Cublade and Bladehound, Blade’s Anima. But it’s great seeing it officially confirmed. What is interesting however, is that from the previous beta, Cupblade and Bladehound were different rarities. Could this mean Anima increase in rarity as they evolve? Or has the system simply changed since the last beta?
For now, HoYoverse appears to be slowly introducing the world of Nexus Anima through these themed posts, so keep an eye on social media channels! This latest one makes it clear that Anima are more than just cute companions. They are tied directly to the game’s world, progression, and story.
