Honkai: Star Rail – Archer Abilities and Light Cone Breakdown

Archer is a 5-star Quantum element character in Honkai: Star Rail who follows The Hunt path. Archer excels as a Single Target DPS with a focus on ATK and CRIT stats. He is known for dealing high DMG by rapidly using his skills. He performs best in teams that either generate skill points or conserve them, allowing him to maximise his skill usage. His abilities include follow-up attacks and damage buffs that boost his overall effectiveness.

What Are Archer’s Abilities and Skills?

Abilities:

• Basic Attack (Kanshou and Bakuya): Deals Quantum damage to a single target.

• Skill (Caladbolg II: Fake Spiral Sword): Upon use, Circuit Connection state is entered. DMG equal to 360% of ATK to a single enemy. During the Circuit Connection state DMG dealt by the skill increases 100% up to 2 turns. After the skill has been used 5 times or no skill points are remaining the state will end.

• Ultimate (Unlimited Blade Works): Deals DMG equal to 1000% ATK to a single enemy gaining 2 charges up to 4.

• Technique (Clairvoyance): Attacks the enemy straight away dealing DMG equal to 200% of ATK to all enemies gaining 1 charge.

Archer’s Light Cone Unveiled

Hrunting:
Increases the wearer’s CRIT Rate by 16%. When entering battle and if the allies’ Skill Points max limit is 6 or higher, increases the wearer’s ATK by 40%. After the wearer uses a Skill, increases their ATK by 10%, stacking up to 4 time(s).

Light Cone:

Archer’s best Light Cone, “The Hell Where Ideals Burn” boosts CRIT Rate. ATK is increased when entering battle additionally when allies’ skill point max is reached. Upon use of a skill ATK increases stacking for a maximum of 4.

Superimpose L1-L5:

CRIT Rate: 16%/ 20%/ 24%/ 28%/ 32%

ATK(Enter battle): 40%/ 50%/ 60%/ 70%/ 80%

ATK(Skill use): 10%/ 12%/ 15%/ 17%/ 20%

Archer is a strong Single Target DPS dealing high amounts of damage through the use of his skills. As Archer consumes a lot of skill points he synergises very well with characters such as Sparkle who can also increase her allies’ overall DMG making them a great team.
