What Is the Path of The Hunt in Honkai: Star Rail?
The Path of The Hunt represents characters who specialize in fast, high single-target damage. These characters are often your go-to picks for boss fights or elite enemy encounters where you need to take down one tough opponent quickly and efficiently.
Combat Role and Gameplay
The Hunt characters are designed to focus all their power on one enemy at a time. Their skills often include powerful single-target attacks and mechanics that boost their Speed, CRIT Rate, or CRIT DMG. This makes them ideal as main DPS units when you're facing enemies with high HP bars.
Unlike Paths like Destruction or Erudition, The Hunt characters don't usually offer much in terms of AoE or team-wide effects. Their strength is in quickly removing priority threats before they can act too often. Because of this, they shine brightest in game modes like Memory of Chaos or boss stages where burst damage matters most.
Most Hunt characters benefit heavily from speed tuning and support buffs like ATK or CRIT Rate boosts. They often rely on skill points to dish out their highest damage, so pairing them with characters who generate skill points consistently is key to maximizing their potential.
