Neverness to Everness officially held its Version 1.1 Special Program livestream today, giving us the first full look at the game’s next big update! The broadcast included new gameplay showcases for Lacrimosa and Chaos, upcoming banners, new events, quality-of-life improvements, and a few surprises for players preparing for Version 1.1.
As expected, the livestream also included new redemption codes and additional details about future content coming to Hethereau, and we made a recap for you!
During the stream, the new trailer for version 1.1 was released, and it clearly indicates where the story is heading next! It seems that we are heading to a beautiful Island to uncover new mysteries.
Our previous encounter with the Scarlet Letters was only the beginning!
New Zone – Sunward Island
If you have already completed your current exploration of Hethereau, you will be happy to know that a new zone is being added to the game for version 1.1!
Welcome to Sunward Island!
Time for the appraisers to take the boat and head to this beautiful Island. Not only can you explore the shores, but also the beautiful sunflower fields, forests, mountains, and island towns with unique buildings.
The island is located just outside of Hethereau, and you can also find a new location anomaly called the Corridor of Echoes.
Livestream Code

Version 1.1 Banners and ARCs
The new banners will start soon, and here are all the characters you will be able to pull for the next few weeks! As always, they all come with their ARC weapon as well:
- Lacrimosa – Chaos
- Has a habit of turning up half asleep in the most unexpected places
- Has an obsession with tomatoes
- One of ETD’s most dependable members
- She can conjure all kinds of objects out of thin air
- Can copy enemies along with their combat techniques, creating exact duplicates that fight using their original moves
- Some of these effects only unlock after you complete Lacrimosa’s Spinoff Quests
- In combat, Lacrimosa controls her Esper constructs to attack enemies and applies the Nightmare effect to her targets (deals DoT Chaos DMG)
- Ultimate: Her Esper constructs deal AoE DMG in a large area, applies Nightmare to all affected enemies, and maxing out the Nightmare stacks directly
- Chaos – Lakshana
- One of the heavy hitters in ETD-6
- Usually comes across upright with zero tolerance for evil
- Once you get to know him, you find out he is also a battle maniac, kind of blunt, and a bit of a chatterbox
- He can summon a thick fog with his Esper ability and shape it however he wants
- Most of the time, he molds it into a hound that fights at his side
- The heavier the karma those around him carry, the more fog he seems to have to work with
- In the open world, Chaos can leave his hound behind as a teleport anchor and teleport back to it whenever he wants
- In combat, he uses his attacks to build up Crime charges and marks his targets with a Warrant effect when his skills or ultimate connect
- Spends Crime charges to unleash a follow-up attack that deals heavy damage
- When Warrant is in effect, all damage to that target is amplified
- Ultimate: Does not just apply Warrant on hit, but also amps up the heavy follow-up damage that comes after
Both characters also come with their respective ARCs:
1.1 Scarborough Fair Limited Boards
During version 1.1, Lacrimosa will run first from June 3rd to June 24, and Chaos will run second from June 24 to July 8, 2026.

During version 1.1, you can also expect the following additions or changes:
- Reworked Character Models
- When 1.1 goes live, part of the inventory in the Exchange Shop will be refreshed
- Leveling your Bond with Lacrimosa and Chaos unlocks Ride-along, Move-in, and a handful of new interactions
- You cannot have a male and female character move into the same house
- City Hangouts storylines open for Lacrimosa and Chaos
- Bagel chat app is getting an upgrade
- You can share your pictures and thoughts of the day
- Earn currency by posting things that you can spend in the Bagel shop for rewards
- Prison update:
- A crew called the Tornado Gang got locked up there
- Appraisers will have to teach Tornado a lesson in a proper fist fight
- If you beat Tornado, you unlock a new City Stamina activity: the Fight Club
- Underground Circuit mode to the racing mini-game
- Matchmaking for six players
- “No holds barred and Brawl” type of races
- You can’t summon your own vehicle
- 6 vehicles spawn at random when the countdown goes down, and everyone has to grab one
- Two players can enter the same car to team up
