Neverness to Everness Hotori

Hotori is almost here in Neverness to Everness, and they officially revealed the bonus rewards linked to her upcoming limited banner! Similar to how it worked for Nanally, you will be able to obtain these rewards by pulling for the new character next week.

As expected, the banner comes with several exclusive cosmetics, including a character skin.

Hotori Banner Pull Rewards

Unlike many gacha systems that only reward the character itself, NTE’s limited banners also include milestone cosmetics that you can either get randomly or that you automatically unlock once you reach a total number of pulls made during the event.

For Hotori’s banner, the rewards are:

  • 50 pulls → Hotori-themed Umbrella
  • 120 pulls → Matching Bike Skin
  • 200 pulls → Exclusive Hotori Outfit/Skin

All of these are just cosmetic and do not provide gameplay bonuses or stat increases, but they are a pretty cool bonus on top of the character.

You Can Technically Get Them Early

The game also allows you to obtain these cosmetics randomly before reaching the guaranteed thresholds. When you pull, you can occasionally land on special reward tiles that may contain any of those items. So if you are really, really lucky, you might even get the skin before the character.

But it is safe to say that the rates appear to be fairly low, so most people probably should not count on getting lucky.

The Real Cost of the Skin

You should also consider the fact that the limited characters in NTE are guaranteed within 90 pulls maximum. So, this means that getting Hotori herself is relatively achievable, but going all the way to the 200-pull skin reward will require significant extra investment.

And depending on your luck, that may also mean pulling multiple duplicate copies of Hotori along the way, since there is no 50/50.

Overall, it is still a pretty interesting system compared to the usual gachas. The cosmetics are entirely optional, but they also create a much stronger “need” for players to keep pulling even after they obtain the featured character. You more often than not think to yourself, “but now that I have the character, I should go for the skin,” and that means spending way more on one single banner.

If you really like Hotori’s design or just her overall character and personality, that exclusive skin will probably be hard to ignore, but if you just care about getting the character for your team, we do not recommend you go the extra mile. Your pulls will ultimately be better spent on another upcoming banner.
