Just hours before Ubisoft’s official reveal, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Resynced has apparently leaked again, and this time through an early Amazon listing.
The Collector’s Edition briefly appeared on Amazon France, revealing its price, contents, and even a potential release date before being taken down.
Collector’s Edition Content
The highlight of the bundle is a detailed figurine of Edward Kenway, designed around the pirate theme that made Black Flag so popular. For those who had the old collector from the first game, you can see the similarities, since it still has the same vibe.
He is shown sitting on a makeshift throne built from treasure chests, ship parts, and a pirate flag, so very much showcasing Edward as the cool pirate he is. The design does fit with visuals that had already leaked earlier as well.
On top of the figurine, the edition includes other goodies as well:
- Deluxe Edition of the game
- Steelbook case
- A notebook centered on Edward Kenway’s story
- Cloth map
- Skull-themed brooch
- Musical score sheet
All of this comes packaged in a collector’s box weighing around 2.6 kg. There are also digital bonuses, including extra outfits, weapons, and ship cosmetics linked specifically to this edition.
Price and Release Date
According to the listing, pricing would be:
- Standard / Launch Edition: $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99
- Collector’s Edition: $199.99 / €199.99 / £174.99
The same page also pointed to a July 9, 2026 release date, but that has not been officially confirmed yet. Pre-orders also appeared to be live briefly before the listing was removed. The price itself is nothing too surprising and fits most current prices for collectors. It is worth pointing out that you do get a lot of items for once, and not just a basic steelbook and in-game skin for 200 euros.
As usual with retail leaks, details can change before release. Pricing, contents, or even the release date could still be adjusted once the game is officially revealed tonight. Still, this gives a pretty solid idea of what to expect from the Collector’s Edition, and we will learn much more about the game and the different editions during tonight’s showcase!
