Blizzard will be returning dead Classic Hardcore characters to life! After the DDoS attacks on three NA realms on July 21st, Blizzard have decided to revive all characters who died on the day! The characters should be alive already, as restorations are complete.
On July 21, three Classic Hardcore realms in North America were impacted by a malicious DDoS attack, resulting in the deaths of some player-characters.
Today, we’ve restored the dead player-characters who were lost during the DDoS timeframe and remained on their Hardcore realm.
Restorations are now complete. Players who fit the above criteria should be able to log back into their character on the Hardcore realm.
