With Classic+ approaching, we’re planning to expand our current roster with two new dedicated writers.
What We Offer
You will be part of an experienced editorial team, where you will work alongside our writers and continue honing your skills as a professional games writer. It’s an opportunity to learn, improve, and grow in a real publishing environment.
This is a paid position. With Classic+ expected to be very popular, consistent output could lead to a full-time opportunity.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who:
- Writes clear, fluent English at a very high level. You don’t need to be a native speaker, but strong command of the language is non-negotiable.
- Actively plays and understands the Classic genre.
- Has experience writing guides, news, or other structured content for games with previous gaming journalism experience being a plus.
- Can consistently meet the required weekly publishing volume of multiple posts per week. If you plan on posting 1 news per month, you’re not really a good fit.
- Can quickly absorb feedback and improve upon it.
- Doesn’t use AI to for news content. We actively review news pieces for AI-generated content.
- Uses Discord for day-to-day comms.
This position requires writer exclusivity.
What You’ll Cover
The news writer is expected to cover current as well as future Classic products. This includes Classic rollouts, hotfixes, blue posts, blog previews, and the highly-anticipated Classic+.
