Continuing their WoW Forever series, Blizzard has released another video, sharing details of the two new zones that players will experience on their leveling journey!
Riverglades
The Riverglades is a new zone connected to the Redridge Mountains on the shore of the Eastern Kingdoms. Alliance players will have easy access to this zone, using a new path. Here, they will meet a new faction, the Brotherhood of the Horse, which was originally introduced in Warcraft II.
While the Brotherhood was supposed to accompany Turalyon to the Dark Portal, some of them chased the fleeing Horde into the Rivergaldes. 20 years later, these Knights have made their home in Farhold Keep.
On the other side of the Faction war, the Horde have allied with the Boulderrock Ogre Clan. These ogres are former members of the Twilight’s Hammer. In the aftermath of the second war, these ogres broke away from their Twilight masters to make it on their own.
While the Brotherhood of the Horse and the Boulderrock Ogre Clan clash with each other, they also have common enemies. Both factions will fight against the Twilight’s Hammer in the new Krol’dok Stronghold outdoor dungeon.
In addition to stopping the Twilight’s Hammer, players will also wreck a pirate operation, escort a horse to safety, and meet an ogre named Jom Jom. Finally, the Rivergaldes may be an important leveling zone due to the Bloodmaster’s Ring. While no details are known yet, previous ogre challenges such as the Ring of Blood have been very lucrative.
Mount Hyjal
For 5 years, the gates of Mount Hyjal have been closed. Following the events of the Battle for Mount Hyjal in Warcraft III, players will finally have access to this zone. Here, players will aid the Druids of the Talon in healing the land.
Finally, players will be able to enter the new 10-player raid, Barrow Deeps. This is where the infamous Illidan Stormrage was once held. What secrets will we uncover in this never-before-seen raid?
